I use a 1/2 pea size amount twice daily to cover a scar about a 1/4 inch long. The bottle lasts roughly 5-6 months. **Q: How soon after my stitches removed can I start using biocorneum?** A: I waited until the scabs started to form and started applying right after. My scars are looking better and less noticeable after daily use for several months now. **Q: How long should one use this product? Months? Years? I have a scar on my forehead due to a falling accident.** A: Per my Plastic Surgeon, scars are "forever treatable, however, the will never completely disappear". Scars are "searted", after one year. With that being said, if it is a new scar, I would start using it immediately and continue for one year or until satisfied with the results.I myself I have scars from a double mastectomy that I did not treat with this particular product until 6 months post surgery. I still today use this product and I am still seeing results the results in the color as the scars continue to fade away. November will be one year from that surgery.
