How many applications does a 20g size have?

It depends on the size of the area being treated. I use a 1/2 pea size amount twice daily to cover a scar about a 1/4 inch long. The bottle lasts roughly 5-6 months.

How soon after my stitches removed can I start using biocorneum?

I waited until the scabs started to form and started applying right after.  My scars are looking better and less noticeable after daily use for several months now.

Question 3

How long should one use this product? Months? Years? I have a scar on my forehead due to a falling accident.

Per my Plastic Surgeon,  scars are "forever treatable, however,  the will never completely disappear". Scars are "searted",  after one year. With that being said, if it is a new scar, I would start using it immediately and continue for one year or until satisfied with the results.I myself I have scars from a double mastectomy that I did not treat with this particular product until 6 months post surgery. I still today use this product and I am still seeing results the results in the color as the scars continue to fade away. November will be one year from that surgery. I am going to continue to use this scar cream until I can no longer see that is producing results, even if it's after 1 year.  I also use this product on very old scars and still continue to see a difference in them as well, however,  not as suddenly obvious as using on my new scars (less than 1yr)Also, the sun is a scars worst enemy! It will make it darker and more obvious, be it a fresh scar or a 10 yr old scar. Even if you purchase this product,  I would also suggest applying additional sunscreen on top of it, once the BioCorneum has dried. I personally would purchase one with the highest SPF coverage possible (coppertone makes one for kids in SPF 90 that looks like a glue stick... works excellent and stays on!)

does it contain steroids?

I have consulted with Dr. Freund and he states that there is no steroid in biocorneum products, just silicone and sunblock.
