These work great and save a bunch of time not having to tape off a fingerboard.

Work as intended but have sharp burrs on the fretboard side which need to be sanded off before use.

These do a good job of protecting the fretboard while I was cleaning the frets with steel wool. Only minor issue is the rubber bands provided are poor quality and easily break. These are a good item to have if you do any work on your guitars.

These are punch cut and have razor sharp edges on the back side that will cut into your fretboard if you’re pushing down on them with a fret eraser or sandpaper. File the sharp edges off the back side before you use them. They work ok otherwise.

Fits the Frets and easy installation. Excellent addition to the tool box!

While the concept appears solid in theory, it does the opposite in practice. I purchased these as part of a gift for my husband. He has several guitars, there were some that needed the frets polished. I thought these would work better than spending the time to tape off the fretboard around the frets. However, the under surface and sides of these guards are so sharp, they scratched the fretboard! When you spend $1000s on these beautiful instruments, it is very disappointing that the product that was supposed to protect it ended up damaging it. Do not recommend!
