Perfect Medium Sized Coffee Pot
So far, this little coffee pot is working great and meets my needs. I needed one that could be preset to brew on a timer. It looks nice on the counter without taking up too much space. Yes, it was worth the price. Coffee brews nicely. The capacity is large enough for me at 10 cups. I have always had a 12-cup, but being by myself, those 2 cups aren't missed. It appears that the glass is of a quality thickness.

Run few pots of water through it before you use it.
Nice coffee maker. I have always trusted Black and Decker. This is the first programmable coffee maker I have ever had. Easy set up but it does shut its self off after 2 hrs. You have to remember and push on button to turn it back on. They all do it now for safety .

Loving My Coffee
I bought this months ago during Prime Days and since my other coffee maker broke, it was perfect timing to get this GREAT DEAL. The plastic basket inside does not fit exactly, but it is workable anyway and makes great coffee. I love the timer so my coffee is always brewed when I wake up, no waiting. Completely functional

A Good Basic Coffee Maker
My last coffee maker finally gave up the ghost and I started looking for a decent coffee maker that wouldn't break the bank. This is what I bought, based on the price and the reviews. It's a good coffee maker. That's all I really need to know. It does its job without fuss. It's programmable, so it has more features than coffee makers that are only a little cheaper. And it will make 12 cups of coffee, which is a plus if you ever have visitors who like coffee or if you drink a lot yourself. It does its job, and it does it well. I have one quibble about this coffee maker, it's the built in 2 hour shut-off, which you apparently don't have any control over (Black & Decker says it's a safety feature). I's annoying. On my weekends I tend to start coffee when I get up, but I sometimes get busy and don't get to it right away. I couldn't tell you how many times I've gone in there to get a cup of coffee only to find out that the warming plate has turned off. Now, it's simple enough just to turn it back on, and I usually get in there before the coffee has gotten too cold. But the simple truth is I would rather be able to make a full pot of coffee that could sit in there for 8 - 10 hours than something I have to babysit, or have to make a couple of cups of coffee at a time. The shut-off "safety feature" is mostly annoying because I have no control over it. I understand Black & Decker probably thought of it as a liability issue (because people love to sue corporations when they themselves have done something stupid), but it does seem like there should be a larger window in which to keep your coffee warm, or least make it something that's variable up to a point. Sure, it makes sense to have the coffee maker shut off at some point, because people can and do forget to turn them off. But whoever set it at 2 hours is clearly someone who doesn't actually drink coffee. lol. Overall, though, I'm very happy with this coffee maker. I'm sure I'll buy another one when this one gives out.

Easy to use and great value
I’ve been using the BLACK+DECKER 12-cup digital coffee maker for about a week and it works great so far. It’s easy to use, the digital controls are simple, and the coffee comes out hot and flavorful. The 12-cup capacity is perfect for home use, and the auto shut-off is a nice safety feature. Great value for the price.

Good-ish coffee maker
I purchased this coffee maker on 28 January 2023, and it almost made it two years. It started leaking water from the bottom of the coffee maker, leaving a large puddle on the countertop, (13 January 2025.) This coffee maker is one of my favorites in many, many years of coffee making. The coffee it produced was H-O-T hot! (Huge 5-star rating for me!) I love a digital timer, and on this particular machine, it is super easy to set and does not loose time. If your power goes out and you have to reset the time/timer, you do not need to look for an operation manual, video on-line or ask a kid or grandkid for help. It's just, hour, minute, program (to set the timer), and auto (the time you'd like to coffee to brew). Again, a big 5-stars from me. The 2-hour warming timer is wonderful, because at 4:20 a.m., checking whether the coffee pot is on or off is not at the top of the list of things that need to be done, while scurrying out the door. I can also sneak a cup while brewing, if I'd like, without having to hurry to pour before there is a spill. Now, with this current coffee pot, I cannot make a 10-12 cup pot, because of coffee grounds floating over the filter or the paper filter folding over. I think this may be due to using a paper filter along with a screen-type reusable filter. And the leaking from the bottom... For a couple of weeks prior to the total failure of being able to hold water, there would be a small puddle when moving the pot back to its space on the counter. I have to slide the machine forward to pour the water and slide it back towards the wall, and there has been a small "trail" of water left, which I attributed to me spilling a small amount when filling the reservoir. However, when I prepared the coffee yesterday, (13 January 2025), there was a huge puddle on the countertop, about 2 cups' worth of water, just pouring out from the bottom of the pot. With all of that said, I reordered this exact same model of coffee maker again yesterday, and I highly recommend this coffee maker. UPDATE: 10/24/2025: Unfortunately, this coffee maker, that I just bought in January 2025 (again) has failed (again)! I absolutely loved this coffee maker. But... It has once again started to leak. I loved everything about this coffee maker. Easy to use and program. Makes great hot coffee. However, it just started leaking. I set it for 6 cups of coffee this morning and I only got +/- 3.5 cups of very strong coffee and a big puddle of water on my counter. Now I have to replace it.
