This bag is great! I have used it several times and I love the fabric and design of the bag. It folds up nicely and can slip into my purse or into a suitcase for trips. Easy to use and store and makes hands free shopping much nicer. I recommend this bag!

Easy to carry, load and pack away neatly

This bag was so perfect for a recent trip to Italy. I purchased it knowing there would be days I'd need to bring items too large to fit into my purse (like a raincoat, swimsuit, towel, water bottle, etc). I ended up like this bag more than the anti-theft purse I brought along. It was more comfortable to wear and once I had it on my like a backpack the opening up top was cinched together pretty well and was taut against my back. I was never concerned of being pick-pocketed. I wore this bag walking miles upon miles through Rome, on a hike in Cinque Terre, shopping in Florence, and more. I loved it. The fabric and pattern of this particular bag is great. Cute travel pattern and the fabric is soft/cotton like. It could be wiped clean if needed but the darker color with pattern really helps hide dirt too. I had also tried a different Notabag that was all black and the fabric was more slick. It would wipe clean very easily but I didn't think it felt as comfortable on my bare shoulders. I really liked this particular bag and wouldn't hesitate to buy more next time I travel with my family so we all have one!

I am at the Olympic Games in Paris with my Notabag, which I bought on the spur of the moment. I love the ease of it as it’s much less bulky than a typical backpack. (In some settings, it looks like a relaxed handbag.) The range of colors is welcome, as is the water-proofing, which held up very well at Rowing, where it rained all day.That said, I sewed a sport zipper at the top to make it less attractive to Le Metro pickpockets and, inside, sewed a zippered pouch as a second line of defense. If you don’t know how to insert a zipper, I’d recommend strong Velcro for pickpocket-prone destinations.And, Notabag, these mods are something you ought to think of offering to an otherwise well-designed product.

I love these Notabags and own a bunch of them and have given them as gifts (it's an indie German company and they have more colors and cool designs on their website in case you are interested.) The reason I love them is that you can easily fold them and fit them into a handbag, and when you open them up, you can either wear them backpack style or tote style. I tend to wear them like a backpack - super handy when you buy some heavier items like water bottles while out and about. They are made from very sturdy yet soft recycled material. I've never had one tear on me, and I've gone camping and to festivals with them. You can also easily pop them into a wash machine and they don't shrink. Perfect as backup for city day trips when you want to just have your handbag, but might want to buy some stuff along the way...
