TIGI Bed Head Hard Head Hair Spray, Travel Size, Extra Strong Hold for All Day Style and All Hair Types, 3 oz

I wear my very fine, but also very thick hair in a pixie cut that I style spikey/messy. For me to achieve that style on my hair type requires a product that is exceptionally lightweight and holds like glue. I've been using this hairspray for several yrs because it's the only thing I've found on the market currently that gives me the results I need. I spray my damp hair with a liquid texturizer to help me lift my hair straight up on top. Once dry I use this hairspray to fix it into place. First I spray it into my hands, and working very quickly, scrunch it through my hair to arrange how I want it. Following that I give it another layer by spraying directly onto my hair to finish. This effectively locks it into place. It holds it perfectly the entire day, wind doesn't bother it. Yes, it's sticky, but if it wasn't it would be usesless to me. The only downside is that with it being sticky it has the bad habit of clogging the nozzle. I do two things to mitigate this. First immediately after using, I scrub the opening of the nozzle with a little brush under hot water. Because it eventually clogs anyway, I now buy only the travel size as I've found as long as I do the scrubbing thing I can use it up before it clogs up. Yes this costs me more. But even the travel size lasts me a long time what with my very short do. So for me it works great! Your milage may vary.

I absolutely love this hairspray! While it’s technically a hairspray, I also use it as a lace bond for my wigs and it works surprisingly well. It gives me a strong hold and helps keep my lace in place without needing to pack a separate lace adhesive. This is especially useful when I’m traveling. I’ll buy the travel size version and use it as a 2 in 1, which saves space in my luggage. It also holds up really well in hot weather. I’ve used it during the summer and while traveling to islands, and the hold has been reliable even in the heat.

I got this to try for cosplay wigs since Got2B ripped my hair out. This is an excellent alternative. My hair stayed under the wig cap perfectly and my wigs stayed on for over twelve hours. It also surprisingly did not make my hair super crunchy.

I’ve been using Bed Head Hard Head hairspray for about twenty (20) years now. I have side swept bangs so I need something with a strong hold. I have somewhat thin hair. It’s medium length. Every other hairspray I’ve tried does not hold my bangs and they fall in my eyes. I’ve tried Kenra, Sebastian Shaper, Big Sexy Hair just to name a few. I only use hairspray on my bangs. They don’t move once they are sprayed. This hairspray locks them in place. I don’t have to use a lot of it. Three or four sprays and that’s it. The hold will last all day long. I’m a stay at home mom but when I did work I would spray my hair at 6am and they would still be in place at 10pm at night. My bangs would hold up to wind unless it’s extremely strong. Something else that makes this hairspray awesome is that it does not have a wet look when sprayed and it does not have that white flaky buildup. My mom started using this too after Kenra changed their formula. We have completely different hairstyles. Hers is short with lots of different layers. She has very fine, thin hair. She sprays all of her hair and has issues with her hair falling flat. Hard Head does not hold her hair all day but it holds her hair longer than any hairspray will. She says it’s easy to style her hair with this hairspray. We used to get it from hair salons then Walmart started selling it cheaper. Then Walmart never had it in stock so we started ordering from Amazon. We have been ordering from Amazon for a couple of years now. The price is better and sometimes you can find it in lots at an even better price. Recently, I’ve let my bangs grow out and they are at an “in between stage”. I’m trying for curtain bangs and I’m having a hard time getting them to stay in place. I’m hoping Bed Head hasn’t changed their formula. My mom hasn’t noticed a difference with the hold in her hair. I would definitely recommend this hairspray to anyone. Anyone who has thin or fine hair, at least.

Could not use as it wouldn't spray. Really like this brand but was very disappointed some of the cans would not spray.

I like this hair spray, it doesn't make my hair look like I have hair spray in my hair, it's not stiff looking. This is the first time I bought the small can, it's easy to hold. I have been using this for over 4 years.

Hard Head is my everyday go-to hairspray. I have fine hair that’s hard to hold, and this is one of the few hairsprays that really works for me. The only other one that gives me the hold I need is Aussie Instant Freeze, which I used for years and still use occasionally, but I can’t stand the overpowering scent. I’ll only use it when I really need extreme, super-strong hold. Otherwise, I reach for Hard Head. It gives me a super-strong hold, but the scent is much more pleasant. I’m also glad to see that the price on Amazon is pretty reasonable because I’ve seen this for $20 a can in some places, and I definitely don’t want to pay that much. I’ve been using Hard Head as my everyday hairspray for a few years now, and I’ll keep buying it.

I really enjoy using this hair spray. Compared to others I've used before, this is an excellent product, especially for managing and styling short hair. I’m very happy with it.

If you really need your hair to stay in place during storm Gertrude, Harry or Imogen - then this is the one. Your hair will not budge an inch! I have just started a new job in a very damp and rainy part of the country. I was tired of arriving at work looking like a bag of rats tails! My regular hairspray was just not strong enough. Yes - hair can feel a bit like a 'shell' if you apply a lot of spray - but it stays in place all day. Recommended.
