Lobo Thai-style Hainan Chicken Rice (Khao Mun Gai) Sauce

I’m Thai so that go without saying that I know what Im talking about. Lobo is the only brand that I will buy as it tastes as close to what you’ll get in Thailand. This sauce will give you the idea of what this dish suppose to taste like before you try to make it yourself from a recipe on google. I recommend add some finely chopped ginger, chilli, and lime to your liking.

Thought I would try this & found it was perfect for bringing together baked brown rice, vegetables & chicken. Also worked with vegetarian ‘chicken’. Had chutney on the side. Give it a try.

This is an extremely tasty khao man gai sauce. I got absolutely addicted to Khao man gai in Portland, Oregon (IYKYK) but that brand is pricey. I tried this brand as a different option and was not disappointed. It is a little spicier than I am used to-- which I liked, but my son was a little put off by. Thus the one star reduction. However-- if you like spice, this stuff is a quality sauce that is easy to use and can be used in versatile ways.

I was born and raised in Thailand. I've been eating Thai food my whole life. This sauce is authentic and convenient. I've made it many times from scratch but always missing ingredients... got to about 80%. Now I get a few bottles and call it a day.

Tasted just as I remembered eating it as a kid. It’s little pricey but that’s expected. It’s a tittle spicy for kids though.

Was looking forward to trying this product. Arrived with cracks throughout bottle and layer of sauce spilled out on exterior of bottle. :( Rinsed off with water but due to amount of damage can’t risk trying it out with compromised glass bottle.

Absolutely hands down one of my favorite sauces! It is fabulous on grilled chicken and rice!
