I have used 4 or 5 items from Micro Ingredients now. I have come to trust the company for high quality and an awesome flavor, this definitely meets those expectations. The extremely fine pink powder can be a little difficult to mix in a liquid, as it requires a bit of vigorous stirring due to just how fine a texture it is (a mixer or shaker would also work). I have been using it as part of a my daily supplements, both for the effectiveness of its own heath benefits and to help flavor other mixes I am taking. It is a little expensive, if you're wanting to achieve an effective therapeutic dosage of pomegranate, but it is still a good value compared to other options.

I think pomegranate juice is a great arsenal in my health routine. However, it is expensive and I decided to try this powder. I have added it to my protein shakes (chocolate flavor and it was still good!). I have added it to my iced tea, to cold water, and into my salad dressing. I think the taste is exactly like the juice and it has upgraded everything I add it to, The value is great but it being a powder versus a juice has allowed me to add it to more foods and incorporate it into my diet more. My stomach tolerates it better than the juice. The smell is part of the appetizing nature of this as it smells good when you open it up and you want to taste it. Great smell, great taste, easy to use, able to use more often than juice alone. Has lasted me a lot longer than expected due to the amount I use daily. I feel it has added to my energy level, condition of my skin, effectiveness of my workouts and I will continue to use it.

One of the best tasting powdery you can get to add to your yogurt, smoothies, juices and even in your baking. I think it is also a great way to teach your kids to appreciate things that aren’t very sweet because the unique taste of the pomegranate is appealing to most people at most ages despite the fact that it is tangy. I also know that pomegranate is very healthy so there is that too.

This powder is like if a pomegranate got pulverized by a wellness guru in a forest. Mixes well, turns your smoothie into a crime scene, and makes you feel like you’re doing something good for your insides. Lost one star because it smells like it could summon ancient fruit spirits if you sniff too hard. Still—worth it if you want antioxidants with a side of adventure.

This is the best stuff! I've purchased several things from this brand/store and everything has been stellar; taste and texture is better by far than any of the several I've purchased from others before finding these folks. It's usually less expensive than others, too, but what good is cheaper if you never eat it? This Organic Pomegranate Juice Powder is tasty, sweet, with a very fine grind that dissolves easily and smells just like pomegranates. As with all powdered eats, mixing it in is best done with a small amount of warm liquid first or just dump it into your dry ingredients adding a bit more liquid to your recipe. I cook almost everything I eat organically from scratch both personally and professionally for decades- even on a wood stove! I'm picky about my ingredients with taste being a close second to organic. Off to spread some pomegranate cream cheese on some biscuits!

Fantastic product well again

I started with collagen which can taste bad and clump. So I added a vitamin C packet. This went into an 8 oz mason jar and I shake with ice. Then someone said 3 limes a day are good for you, and I added those. Then I started adding beet powder and now pomegranite and it's yummy! I am now blending as yes, the pomegranite still clumped a little and actually I add WHILE blending because it was still sticking a bit to the blades. I read the bad reviews first and most were about the weak flavor.. They tell you the dose anad they tell you what to do: "Scoop included to get the measurement every time. Take it daily with or between meals by adding it to a shake or smoothie, and see what the most nutrient dense food on the planet is all about." Nowhere on the package does it say it has great pomegranite flavor. So I would dismiss all poor flavor comments.

UPDATE Well this was too good to be true. In conducting some further research I discovered that (1) more studies must be done on pomegranate powder, which experts to not believe is as strong as the fresh fruit or juice and cannot deliver the same benefits, and (2) in general, interaction between fresh pomegranates and the juice and certain medications -- statins, in particular -- can cause muscle breakdown and kidney damage, among other dangerous side effects. It would be a good idea to check with one's doctor before mixing this fruit with certain meds and reconsider the efficacy and safety of the pomegranate powder, as well. This is a wonderful way to get the antioxidant and artery clearing benefits of pomegranates on a regular basis, without the mess of the fresh fruit or tons of sugar in the juice. It is pricey but lasts a long time, and well worth it for the health benefits. The taste when mixed in water is not the same sugary, rich taste of juice, but I don't mind that at all. When you mix it well you get a glass full of a light, slightly sweet taste. And you can mix it with and sprinkle on anything you wish. This is a great product. And the company, micro ingredients, offers other freeze-dried selections. Brilliant.
