Caution for Beginners
This is a fun video and an uplifting workout... BUT does not qualify as a "beginners" workout. From the first second it is VERY fast paced with no instruction for the steps. They also do not provide any warm up activities but just use a disclaimer statement at the beginning of the video that "it's always important to stretch at the beginning and end of any workout." So you need to do a warm up first before starting the DVD since the moment it starts is highly aerobic, not gradual. It's a sink or swim workout. In many workouts you can modify the steps to your own beginners level, but the pace of this workout is so fast that you don't even have a chance to try to modify to your level if you're a true beginner. I was really looking forward to this but ended up really disappointed. Not a beginners video.

Fun video!
I ordered this video so that my daughter and I could exercise together to music and choreography that we both would enjoy, and I am so glad that I did. My daughter loves to dance, but all of the other dance workout videos that I have ordered in the past were either too boring for her or the music wasn't to her liking. I am not a great dancer, but despite this, we are having fun learning the songs and the choreography together. This is one of the best purchases that I have made in a long time, and I will be purchasing another one for my little sister, who also loves to dance.

Love it! Fun way to exercise!
I’m 50 years old and have two total hip replacements. I already use a stationary bike and do strength training four times a week and wanted something fun to do for exercise to break up my routine. I’ve never really done anything like this, and I truly have no rhythm whatsoever, but somehow I’m getting a little better at following along each time. Just as I hoped, it’s a lot of fun, and I love the Christian music!

It's NOT Low-Impact
This is a fun workout, but it should not be advertised as "low impact." I have done aerobics and dance my whole life (I am 66 now) and never gotten injured. I did injure my knee jumping with this workout: it's my age and that my knees are getting frail, and I don't blame this workout. JUST DON'T SAY IT IS LOW-IMPACT. It's not. I was surprised to see this DVD show up when I searched for low-impact, because that is all I can do now.

Not Pleased!
Way too fast - not beginners at all!. It is hip hop music, so you should probably like hip hop if you're going to buy it. No instructional part at all. Not pleased. Sent back for return.

Fab Dance Workout!!
If you're looking for a great beginner Dance workout to Christian music- look no further! This is an awesome workout. At about 27 mins long, it's perfect for days when I don't have a lot of time. I combine it with their second DVD "A Time to Dance", when I want a longer workout. I had trouble getting a few of the moves and the timing at first, but after a few weeks I got the hang of it. The only song I'm not in love with is the "Bollywood" style one. Only because it's a little neurotic for me. I do like the workout for that one and after doing it a few times I can turn the music down and just do the moves. I use " The Dance Socks" over my shoes for this as it helps with sliding and reduces the knee strain. I really like that they showed people of different shapes and ages dancing in the videos. I would definitely recommend these DVDs. If you don't get the moves right away, just keep trying. Nobody can see you, so who cares if you mess up :) The cardio is the benefit anyway!

Good music, good concept but poor instructions
A little disappointed in this. They do give instructions but they seem to run through it quickly and we had a hard time translating it into the actual dance routine. Music was great though and I'm hoping we will eventually get the hang of it. Just needs better instruction.

Good Workout!
I love the video. But, it would be nice if there was a workout without the pauses in between. (When you do the entire workout, you have to wait between each specific section.) Like, have an option to do the whole 25 minutes with no breaks.Also, the video shows how to do "favorite moves". It would help to show how to do ALL the moves that are done in the workouts.
