Is actually spill proof.
Out of the numerous sippy cups I have purchased for my granddaughter, the Dr Browns is the only one that is actually spill proof. I definitely prefer one with the 2 handles on each side versus no handles. It's so easy for her to handle the cup. Easy to clean.

Great transition cup
Great cup that's easy to clean! The handle is toddler friendly. Doesn't leak that I've noticed. The handles and cup weight seem to make it comfortable for my 1 year old to carry around and easily use.

Great, just like I remember.
I have used Dr. Brown's sippy cups for all of my kids over the past 12 years and we have loved them. Baby #6, I wanted some again. I noticed that they have changed the design quite a bit, but the cup still delivers. Here are the pros and cons.Pros:- This cup DOES NOT LEAK. This is the main selling point. It just doesn't leak. WIN.- The size is compact. This is something I love about it. Kids who need a sippy don't drink that much at a time, so bigger sizes are redundant IMO. This one is perfect.- It's extremely easy to clean. It comes apart into only four parts: the cup, the screw-on cap w/handles, the nipple/gasket, and a lid.- The lid is an updated design from what I remember; instead of a free-flowing cap, it has a hinged flip-top lid, which can be easily removed. Good update.- It's ergonomic and has a soft spout. My babies could always pick these up easily and figure them out quickly, and they really enjoy the soft tip over a hard plastic one (which gets ruined even with mild chewing - this doesn't). Again, size matters here - smaller and more compact is easier for a baby to manage.- It's a cost-effective sippy at only $6, and the price hasn't really changed over the years. Win.Cons:- The cup only comes in two colors: blue and pink. As a nonbinary person who is also sick of the "norm," I rather dislike baby and kid products that only come in blue and pink. I would like to see more purple and green, personally. (Or hey, go crazy and do multi-colored.)- The handles on the cup are too long/tapered, and they hit my fingers when I'm twisting the cap on, unless I grasp the very bottom of the cup with the tips of my fingers. It's awkward, I hate it, and I feel like I'm going to drop it. It would be fine if I only used it once in a while, but this is something I'm going to be using every day, multiple times per day, probably for the next two years or so.This last bit is the reason I came to write this review, and a reason I knocked a star off. Hopefully Dr. Brown's will change the design back to something that makes more sense.Otherwise, GREAT CUP! The bad handle design is easily overlooked because of all its other good qualities.

1.5 yrs later and still love it
I got this for my kid when he was 7 months and he is now 2 and still using this. It doesn't leak and easy to use for parents and for kids. I did take the outter lid completely off as it would hit his face but it's easy to put it on if you need to put it back on. I literally looked for this purchase just review it because it's hard to find good cups.

Great cup
I love this cup. I’ve bought this item 3 times, for two different kids. The nipples is a good transition from a bottle.

Works great but the lid is a challenge
Spill proof as described. Easy to hold and the mouthpiece is an easy transition from bottle to cup. My issue is that this cup has a lid that keep closing and baby can’t reopen it. While it’s good for sanitary reasons - it’s a pain to have to constantly reopen for the toddler.

Removable lid
Have gone through several sippy cups to no avail. My toddler approved of this one because of the soft mouth piece. He didn’t want to drink at first, only wanted to play with the lid. the lid is removable, so once we took it off, he drank from it.
