This is the best made of the volt meters of the many I have used and installed. It is metal and bright and could use longer wiring that comes with it as I connected directly to my motorcycle battery up to the Moto Guzzi Norge fairing and had to use my own loom. Other than that the price is reasonable for the accuracy and heft of the unit. Works well. WIsh It came with two like others do but that at this time is the only reservation I have with it. Will report more 6-1 year later of use.

Work as designed.

We purchased these to add a charging port to our 2009 Mazda RX8. I had to use a cigarette lighter adapter to charge my phone. Installation was easy and the new port fit where the lighter was perfectly. When you turn the car off the port powers off and has to be turned on by pressing a small button. At first I would forget that I needed to turn it on so that took a little getting used to. But, it was not a big deal and I quickly got the routine down. It charges my phone fairly quickly. Great device for cars without factory installed charging ports. The 2nd device was installed in our 2019 Toyota 4-Runner. While it had a usb media port but not a charging port in the front of the car. It would not charge my phone, only maintain what charge it already had. There is a charging port in the back seat area but I wanted one in the front. Installation in this vehicle took a bit longer. It looks very professional and functions perfectly.

I installed this in my 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I replaced the 12v socket on the center dash beneath the A/C mode selector. This 12v socket is only powered with the ignition key. Installation was easy. Just search YouTube for how to disassemble the dashboard for access to the socket. In my Jeep the socket only had two wires running to it, a black with white stripe and a purplish color. 1. I unplugged the wires from the socket and cut the wires right at the plastic plug to give me the most wire to work with. 2. I cut the wires on the provided plugs to about 4 inches in length, removing the fuse portion (which is not needed in this case). 3. I butt-spliced the red to the purplish and the black to the black with white stripe. 4. I used a Dremel sanding drum to very slightly expand the hole the socket was in to accommodate the new device. 5. I installed the new receptacle where the socket was in the dash, being careful to line everything up before tightening. 6. Before reassembling everything, I turned on the ignition to verify everything was good to go. 7. It powered and reported a little more than 14v with the Jeep running. 8. I reassembled the dash. It works great and the power as can be seen charging an iPhone 12 using the apple cord. My primary use is to power a wireless charger that mechanically opens and closes using the power through the USB port. The following is why i give it 4 stars instead of 5: Every time I turn off the ignition the power goes off as expected, but when I restart the ignition, the power stays off. I am required to push the power button each time I get in. It does not end there. I also have to unplug my charger and reinsert the plug, in order for it to power the mechanical holder. I do not recommend this plug for this use, but I would recommend this plug for a socket that is always on, because of the on off feature. IMO the power button limits the use. I will not return it as I will repurpose it to replace an always-on 12v socket.

This is awesome for two reasons. It's a really good charger for your phone and you can keep up with the amps on your battery. I mounted it in the side of my console on my boat. Easy to install and has a fuse block with it.

They seem to be of good quality aluminum and definitely like that it will tell you the voltage in the battery

Includes good wires and inline fuse. Bypassed the fuse as the vehicle has a fuse for this circuit. Good sturdy aluminum body but the installation nut is plastic. It still locked up with plenty of torque. The voltage readout is not that bright or distracting and the push button turns it off which works through the rubber cover. I did have to file a little plastic away to enlarge the hole for it otherwise looks and works great. Hint - maybe install the cover so that it opens down.

Buena calidad, cómodo ya que lo puedes apagar en su interruptor, dos usb que funcionan genial y la pantalla del voltaje, que como digo, si a alguien le molesta la luz se puede apagar en el interruptor o ponerle la tapa de goma. Tiene calidad, nada de plasticucho malo. Muy contento. Saqué el mechero del coche y puse esto.
