I have always been unsure of what to give to a friend walking through cancer. What is appropriate? What is comforting? Encouraging? THEN I saw this blanket and knew it would be perfect for my friend who just had to undergo another surgery in her cancer journey.She absolutely LOVES this blanket and was so appreciative of it. When I ordered it to give to her, the blanket itself came in such a sweet gift bag with an adorable, cheerful owl design that truly added to the thoughtfulness of the gift. It came vacuum sealed, which made it less cumbersome for placing in a care package. The blanket is SO soft and cuddly, making it perfect for someone who is in treatment or in recovery. For my friend, it was a great companion for her as she recovered from her surgery, and the message of courage and resilience was so encouraging to her. I love reminding her that she is a warrior for all she has overcome. While this makes an uplifting gift for someone going through cancer or another like illness, I am thinking it would also make a great Christmas gift for my kids (shhhh!!) to remind them that they are loved and prayed for and have overcome some substantial obstacles in their lives as well.Highly recommend this blanket for its quality, its message, its appropriateness for the receiver, and its absolutely amazing softness. Its Cuddly Factor is easily a 15 out of 10!

It is a very soft and very well made blanket. I washed it before giving it to a family member that is hospitalized and the softness still remained with absolutely no unraveling or stitching issues. I'm more impressed this was made by a small business because of the quality; even better than some big companies. Would definitely recommend.
