I’ve been using this product for years. It’s a neat and clean way to start fires in the fireplace or barbecue. It lights easily and burns slowly and safely. The downside is the price, it’s gone up substantially.

Best Fire Starter ever
This is our 4th box of Fatwood and second of Plow & Hearth’s brand. They are all good fire-starting sticks, but Plow & Hearth’s is the best with fast ignition and a bit less smell. Makes starting a fire a sure fire pleasure!

Works Great for starting fires
I use this at home and while I am camping. Starts wood fires quickly.

Great refill box
Got the 30 lb size for the best value per pound. Have a wood box on hearth to refill. Sticks are perfectly cut to fit it. This should last quite a while and each stick lights easily and burns well.
