I love these colourful story books and have levels 1 to 6 at home. I have used them to teach my child to read and I love how they give you tips for helping them learn at a good progression rate.I am finding they don't correspond to the levels they use in school and these seem to move through the levels quicker, but I find that is a good challenge for my child.The stories and fun and the activities at the back are so good. I think these are a great value for money and definitely recommend them.

Got these to support my son who is in reception. He kept being given the same books in his book bag and wasn't fully engaging. These are fun and easy to transport rather than the e-book push from schools these days I wanted something physical he could hold. I've noticed he's being much more proactive picking out his books and having fun whilst learning.

My grandson loves these books

The stories are interesting, my daughter loves them and it helps her with some new vocabularies. It’s good value for money, and she can read them all over again as she pleases.

Bought for my grandson, he had mastered the previous stages. These books are well written, well illustrated. Proper stories that I found myself eager to find out what happens. The teaching aids and little extra round the books of perfectly. I would highly recommend.

I felt misled by the title of these books. It says phonics books in the description and these aren’t. These are stories for independent readers designed as a transition from phonics to reading independently. I was after phonics books so was disappointed that I didn’t get it. I didn’t realise until I’d unpackaged them and opened up a book.
