The bag itself is 13". I have a new laptop that is 12.5" and it is a tight fit but does fit. Still like this bag but will look for another one to better fit the new laptop. I have only had this for a few days but love it already. I have not had to shoulder carry it very much so long term use and comfort is unknown. There are double zippers on the accessories pocket only. This makes sense because when you need to open the main pocket, you are pulling out your laptop. Padding is sufficient, the bag holds it shape. There are no pen/pencil holders. There is an internal pocket on the accessories outer side that can be used for that type of item, small notepad. It looks quality. Plastic rings and snaps but not of inferior quality. The plastic helps keeps the weight down and are plenty strong for this style and purpose bag.

Good and excellent

Two sided bag with enough space for Ipad 12.9 and accessories. One side is quilted with padded fabric that protects against accidental drops. I use this side to carry the Ipad as it fits perfectly even with a thick rubber protection case that also has a pencil holder on the side. This side also has the portal for wired earphones to extend outside of the case. The other side has one large pocket, one zippered pocket on one side and on the other side there is a half sleeve pocket and 3 smaller pockets. This side is great for carrying accessories such as cables, power banks, ipad keybord or use as a purse section. The strap easily adjusts so that you can comfortably carry the bag at your desired length. The adjustable shoulder pad keeps the case in place as you walk. The material is made of durable high quality fabric. I can see this case lasting a long time. Even if you do not travel often, it is great to use as a protected place for storage.

I’m pretty happy with this. It is exactly as expected, though I wish it was a little prettier (more stiff with a more business professional material/color option). I like that it has a removable shoulder strap or a small handle on the side (as you can see in pictures. The compartment for the laptop is very nice and soft. The edges are well lined and designed to protect the corners; the front pocket/compartment has nice pockets for accessories and the power cord. I like the size of this case; I can carry it just as is or I’m able to put this inside a bigger bag if needed to travel with more things. The color is as expected (note: my kitchen light has a yellow tint - in the images).

The shoulder strap is included and is optional to use. The extra compartments for accessories are found on the inside, making this bag look slim and nice on the outside.

Surprised by how well made it is and the fit is perfect for the new 20 23,12.9 iPad. The newest version iPad is basically all screen with no home button so overall the product is slightly smaller than the older version, but has the same size screen. This bag is extremely well padded with nice compartments, and I am able to fit a set of Bose headphones fold it flat in the extra zippered pocket along with men accessories. Looks good works good and highly recommend it for safer transport of your iPad.

I bought this for my 14" Dell Latitude 5420. The bag designed for 14" laptops is waaay bigger than my laptop. There's at least 4" of free space on the topside and 3" along the other edge. I'll be returning the bag for the smaller 13.3" one to see if things fit better. Some things to note... - While the bag is well constructed and has plenty of padding, it doesnt have any corner protection as advertised. It's just a regular cloth woven case...no rubber or plastic bumpers at the edges woven inside or out. - The D rings where the shoulder strap attaches are made of plastic!! I fully expect to have it break one day and my laptop drops to the ground. I will end up having to somehow replace them with metal D rings. Plastic is unacceptable for such an important component. The shoulder strap itself also uses plastic clips. I will have to get a new shoulder strap too. - The headphone hole is dumb and allows moisture into the bag. Summary: This bag leaves a lot to be desired but its the only one on the market with a vertical opening and a little extra storage space for a charger and some cables so i'll make it work for my needs.
