My original review of this product was three stars I have changed it to five stars due to the fact I now understand why certain things were happening ,,Just like other reviews said the lights start to flash !! Well after the battery gets below a certain level and they continue to flash until the battery is changed . A lot of different LED applications tend to do this . also you need to have the switch put on the D mode in order for the motion sensor to work! I have put brand-new batteries in both units and discarded the ones that came with they work amazing they are very bright and are perfect for my application I would highly recommend this item it's very versatile for so many different applications When they do work fine they work amazing and are very convenient for multiple different applications especially cabinets closets and gun safes

I am giving this 3 stars because it works as described except for it keeps falling off where I stick it. The 3m sticker attached to light strips is not sticky enough. Another reason for not giving 5 stars is because it's battery operated and burns up batteries fast, went through 4 AAA batteries in 1 week. I did put these on my stairs and have kids and dogs that will turn on lights so I might look into a different type of light strips, one that's maybe plugged into wall and not on batteries

I originally bought these to connect to longer LED strips, however these are rated 5V while most other LED strips are rated 12V. After trying to connect the two different pairs multiple ways, nothing worked. If you're looking to use the motion sensors in these and add other LED strips to extend them, it won't work so don't bother.I decided to use them anyway because they lit up my spaces well without any extensions. They worked fine for less than a week, then one of them starting to continuously blink on and off while set to the motion sensor mode. The next day, the second one broke and had the same problem: it keeps blinking on/off while set to motion detection mode. They work fine in the always on mode, but the whole point of buying these was for the motion sensor feature which doesn't seem to work past a week. I should've listened to the other reviewers who reported this issue.If you're looking for long lasting motion sensor lights, don't buy these.

Put two of these up in closets without interior lighting. Both work well, though the adhesive on one of the lights is not holding that well. May have to staple the light strip into place.

Really love these LED strip lights. I put two in my pantry. Now when I open the door it is well lit. No more eating pork and beans past the expiration date!

Batteries don't last very long. Started flashing after a week in an area not used often.

We have had the lights for 1 week and where they are used is very little. The lights are already blinking indicating low battery. Brand new batteries and after a week they are dead. Very disappointing
