Short of shaving my head, i have tried everything. U less you plan on having pink hair for the rest of your life, I would not use this product. **Q: Anyone know how to get it out? My hairs been pink now for months and I love it and everything. I just want to go back to blonde with out bleach.** A: As recommended below, Joiconwlnt remove the color. I spent an hour at the salon trying to get this out with Joico and it left my hair bleached with pastel pink. It actually looked worse than when I was just trying to let the pink fade. The problem is with the ingredients in this product. They do not react well chemically to being removed. The pastel pink we were left with wasn’t the dye but from a chemical in the dye that won’t lift. Your best bet is to let it fade and grow out, or try and lift it and dye over it like I had to do. **Q: Can I add conditoner to make it lighter pink?** A: Yes, absolutely! You are probably aware that the pink is super bright and strong, and adding conditioner (or the Color Liberator from the same company) is great for diluting the brightness. Also experiment with how long you leave it in before rinsing. I have used many different hair dyes from the expensive celebrity brands to the cheap box dye and everything in between. Box dye sticks pretty well, but damages the hair. The expensive brands I’ve used haven’t lasted for long. I decided to try this brand after reading the reviews about the staining power. It’s great! It was easy to apply, left my hair feeling super soft, and the color is gorgeous. The first 3 pictures are from the first 2 weeks after the first time I dyed it. As you can see, it faded to a weird salmon color after only 2 weeks. It was completely my fault. I used less than half the bottle because I was only doing my ends. Turns out I didn’t saturate the strands enough. Around 3 weeks later, I dyed it again and used the last of the bottle. It worked so much better. The other photos above are from the second time I dyed it. The color hasn’t faded very much and it turned out so cute! I absolutely love it and will be using this brand again. Just be careful when applying the dye. This WILL stain.
