Bike Rack for Garage Wall Mount 4 Pack Vertical Bike Hooks Bicycle Hanging Hooks for Indoor Storage with Non-reversible Hooks

My garage has unfinished walls with exposed studs, so my garage might make for an easier install. I have 8 bikes from Adult 10 Speeds, Adult Mountain Bikes, Adult Beach Cruisers and some kids bikes, these hooks handled all of them no problem. I screwed them directly into the studs using my own deck screws, but they do supply screws. I spaced them all in a row at about 7.5' high along the studs which are 16" apart. Basically it took me about 20 minutes to screw them all in (I got 8) and hang the bikes. My garage space now gained about 150 SF of new floor space....highly recommend, they are also very sturdy and well made. After researching book hooks for a week or two, I made the right choice and these are priced perfectly.

These things work great. This was an affordable option to hang our kids bikes and clear space in our garage. Easy install and they seem durable.

It's quite heavy duty. I used it in an unfinished garage with no wallboard screwing #10 thread two inch long wood screws directly into the vertical two by fours and that was a challenge. Definitely need to drill an 1/8 inch pilot hole for those first and even with that I still stripped on of the screws with my electric screwdrivers. 4 stars only cuz my daughters huge mountain bike tires are a little hard to get in the holder. I tried bending the hook, and that thing is rugged. I took a tube that normally holds up a seat and I had some good leverage, but this thing is quite heavy duty. I maybe bent it a quarter of an inch. It's really strong.

These hooks are solid. I'm very happy with them. However, the included hardware is inappropriate. First, they include drywall mounts and I cannot impress upon you just how bad an idea hanging your bike from drywall is. Second, the included screws are made from a fairly soft metal so they strip pretty easily. Do yourself a favour and either mount these to a board (like I did) or mount them directly to a stud with at least 2.5" screws.

This is super sturdy and easy to install. It came with sticker guides to align the drill holes, which made it very easy to get the feeder holes aligned. The included screws were "good enough", but as is often the case the metal was a bit soft, and I'm not sure if they would survive a reinstall if we ever move. However, screws are cheap and I am certain I can get them off the wall since none of the heads were stripped. With the bikes weight, do not install this in drywall if at all possible. If you do, purchase drywall anchors that flip outward behind the wall. As you can see in the picture above, I bought a 2x10 board and mounted it to the studs in my garage. Then I mounted the bike hooks to that board at my desired separation. It is extremely secure, and the hooks feel very sturdy - I have no concerns about them bending or failing. Please note, this does not have a plate for the rear wheel, so the rear wheel will touch your wall and make it dirty.

Don’t bother with the included hardware it is cheap. The screw heads easily strip out with an impact driver. I bought a quarter inch by inch and a half lag screw for the top bolt hole and just used drywall screws for the rest of them and it was solid into a 2 x 4 stud. The product itself is pretty heavy duty though.

Very convenient for my small garage. I would not suggest using the anchors that come with it. Use toggle bolts. Not good for the tire size of mountain bikes and makes it awkward to put on the hook. Does make the bikes look more presentable.

Does the job great works well. Seems to be sturdy construction. I'm happy with it.
