74750 5 Piece Comfort Grip Wood Chisel Set

Excellent - LONG - chisels. Great construction with sharp blades that hold their edge a long time. I used them to knock off thinset stuck to the walls after I removed tiles for a reconstruction project. These chisels let me get into places I couldn't reach with my other chisel set. They feel really solid and transmit the full force of hammer blows from the striking pad - I was afraid the plastic/rubber handles would dampen their effectiveness, but they feel like they have a solid metal tang. Anyway, they are comfortable to use but work very effectively. I love the economical price for the set of 3.

This is an excellent tool. Well built and robust, even good looking. Sharp like hell, better be careful when use it.

This chisel was perfected doing exactly what I needed to do it was extremely Sharp very adorable nice handle with a metal plate at the end that you can hit it with a hammer, unfortunately part of the chisel snap off in use so I had to buy another cheaper set on here. If the tip didn't snap I would have given it a 10 star review

Chisel don’t hold edge, and bent from prying to level window.. other buck chisels lasted years idk bout these..

Excellent quality. Resharpened them to be razor sharp. No problems. One of the best features is the concave grip at the end of the handle. Makes it much easier to pull them out of a tool belt that has a snug to tight pocket.

Sharp and built well. Dont expect these to stack up against higher quality built chisels. They nick up easy but remain sharp through multiple jobs. Homeowner grade built to last.

These are sharp and easy / comfortable to handle, very comparable to my Craftsman chisels. All at a great price, less $ than identical Home Depot (they wouldn’t match). Orange handles make it easy to find in a crowded workspace. Only downside is that the plastic edge covers are very loose, fall off in tool bag or tool drawer, that could be a safety issue since the sharp edge gets exposed.

I used the chisel to improve the fit of my deck boards (I.e. I needed to shave the joists 1/8"-1/4" down in places to allow the deck board to sit flat). Worked well, pre-sharpened, was able to shave the material off as required using a soft mallet hammer and this chisel. Good quality for the price. Happy as I got the tool I needed at a decent price and was able to complete the project.
