Deep rich full sound.
Ampeg Rocket Bass RB-115 1x15 200-watt Bass Combo Amp is what was looking for. Play more soul and blues. The amp is a little heaver, but nothing to cause an issue when moving. Has all of the effects I need has that rich deep sound like James Jamison.But can be made to sound bright if you need it too. Just an opinion, take it for what it's worth.

Nice tone. Very clear, sweet highs and lows. Quiet fan. Fairly light. Limited power, not for a larger venue. Great for practice and small stage.

Sounds great
I have been playing through an Ashdown 4x10 cabinet with an old Crate head. I always thought it sounded pretty good and really it does. When I hooked up the Ampeg 115 I was surprised at how good it sounds even in comparison to a 4x10 cab. I'm happy with it, even gained a little room back getting rid of the cabinet.

I Love This Amp
The three EQ tone controls are perfect for the 'just wanna play' bassman. Nothing complicated about the amp. Grit probably has a purpose but I haven't found it yet. I love the tone versatility. Many years of designing and manufacturing amps have give Ampeg their own space in the world of amplifiers.

Very impressive sound…
This is a very good amp and provides excellent quality sound. They may not be as popular as Marshall but they are worth it if you don’t want to dish out the cash for a brand this is your best option. You’ll get your money’s worth and more. Definitely recommend!

Christmas gift
My grandson was so happy. He couldn't believe his eyes! He used it to play his base guitar. Christmas songs.
