Two problems: It's not large enough to fit the wide rolls of paper towels, so get standard size. The other obnoxious part is once you put on the new roll, it's a game of hit-or-miss to get the dowel to fall into the receiving hole on the mount. Sometimes it's so frustrating that we leave the paper towels on the counter.

Well made. They can be mounted horizontally or vertically. The only down side is you need to buy mounting screws for them. They should mention that. Here is what I used. Brass #6 X 3/4" Flat Phillips head screws. The racks were mounted to my cabinet doors under my sink in my kitchen. I used one for full size towels and the other for select a size. See pictures.

LOVE! I have lots of natural wood in my home. We just updated our kitchen —it is ALL eggshell white and so I wanted a wood paper towel holder to bring in warmth and also loved that it can be hung underneath our cabinet to avoid taking up further space. It also hold Costco size paper towels 🙌🏼

Compliments wood cabinets and is very sturdy. Does not come with mounting screws. Different thickness in cabinets preclude including matching wood screws. Make sure you account for the thickness of your cabinet if you mount like we did under the cabinet, otherwise the screws will stick through the shelf. Easy to mount, takes a full roll of paper towels easily. The dowel is a bit tricky to reinstall with a full roll but once you do it, it is easier the next time. Well made and worth the few extra bucks over the cheapest ones. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

I went with a spring loaded one (with little pull knobs on the sides) 6 months ago that broke to save less than $10. I wish I had gone with this one first. Reasonably if you account for quality you're getting.

I lost the center bar on the oak one I had, so I needed to get another. This is what I was looking for. The notched bar looks easier to use (with full roll of paper towels). Thank yoU!

For the price I do not think screws would be to hard to include nor costly. But yes I did know I would have to use my own. Still.

As other reviews stated, this came with no screws to put up. It is also very lightweight. It just seemed cheaply made. I feel like I could have made this. I returned it.
