Georgiana does it again.
Lovely story, this writer is so good at setting the scene, this one at the time of Edward VIII and Mrs Simpson as well as the upper class life in the thirties.Beautifully researche and great fun.

Anyone who has read and enjoyed Kerry Greenwood's Phryne Fisher series will like these too. A fun, light read and I did like how actual royal persons and well-known society figures from the time were incorporated into the story. Look forward to picking up some more of these.

Great period detail and a good mystery. I don't want this series to end! These are my go-to lockdown reads.

pleasant read
I really enjoy these stories but find it a little irksome when American terminology is used instead of English eg. Purse instead of handbag and autopsy instead of post-mortem
