Q: Is.this the 7 speed shifter for the right side ? The description does.not verify if it is for the left or the right, can you please verify.

Yes! The right side is to the rear cassette, the shifters vary from 6/7/8/9 etc. The left side goes to the front chain ring. Usually 1-3 shifter.
