Excellent engineering... quality shop execution... and a beautiful piece for indoor corner placement. I did not buy this for shower use... it is for accent use in a corner (orchids, statue, ceramic display, etc.). They use a 100% coverage lacquer that is quite nice and seals in a rich color. With that coating, I cannot tell if it is 100% teak wood. The chrome steel connectors are all hidden and fit tightly. It is a strong bench and very easy to assemble. Highly recommended for interior use.

This review is based on the first teak corner bench we purchased when we lived out of CONUS. The water was very "hard" and full of minerals. After about 18 months/2years the finish dulled from built up layers of soapy water. A good cleaning and application of Teak Oil made it look brand new. It served us long and well. This bench is identical thus the outlook for it is equally sunny. The bench is about 14 or 15 lbs, sturdy, handsome and serves us well for cleaning feet, shaving legs etc. It can be readily removed and used in other places throughout the home.

Product is even better than expected. Beautiful wood tones, veery sturdy, well made and easy to assemble. All the pieces fit together without any issues. It really is absolutely gorgeous.

Love this new bench! It was packed beautifully with attention to detail and was easy to assemble. All parts were labeled. Picture instructions were just OK, but intuition made it pretty easy. First I attached the front leg to the top (Part A) then enlisted my hubby to balance the shelf (Part B) while I added the back leg and threaded the screws through the holes in the shelf and top, then I hand tightened the 4 nuts for the those first two legs. I attached the remaining two legs and tightened all the nuts until I just heard the wood start to creak. Hubby tested it for stability, and we were both satisfied. It's lovely, but there were a couple of flaws in the wood on top, and it isn't completely smooth for our bare bottoms to sit on. That's the reason for taking one star away on the rating. We are getting a new shower, and we didn't want a built-in bench. I'll have to wait to adjust it for the slope to the drain in the new shower pan, but my hopes are high for it. I would recommend this bench.

Beautiful shower bench. Looks better in person than in the product photos. It was packaged extremely well. Don't make my mistake when putting it together by attaching all the legs to Piece A first (the seat that will end up on top). No good. I had to take the legs off and start again. It is much easier to just insert the single back leg first and lightly screw the nut on the bolt. Then add the 2nd shelf to that back leg, and then add the front leg to both shelfs at the same time and loosely add the nuts to those 3 new bolts. Finally, add the 2 side legs and put the nuts on those. Then go around and tighten all 8 nuts with the included wrench. It came out great. All together it took me 10 minutes to put it all together, including fixing my initial mistake. Very well made and sturdy. Beautiful color wood. The adjustable rubber feet are a perfect addition. It looks awesome in the shower. It is exactly what I was looking for. I am very happy with it and would highly recommend it.

Beautiful and great quality. I totally recommended. It is easy to assembly. It looks fantastic in my new renovated bathroom. The reddish color of the wood is great, also the wood has a good varnish coat.
