Works perfect for me
Seems like a much better part than the stock unit. I put this on my 04 Sporty that can be hard to start due to the tuning and it has held up great. It's been in for a couple months and no reliability problems. The bearings seem a little larger than stock as well but fit with no modification. Great product for a great price.

It doesn’t go in like the old one , no instructions included
I bought this item for my 2006 Streeglide , it went in without a problem and works great

Failed out of the box
Tried to return it but the seller refused. They stated "Expiration of returns period." Bottom line, the clutch slipped worse than the one I took out. I tried to return it about a month after I received it. The old clutch was just beginning to slip, so I didn't get to it for a couple weeks. This starter is so bad I can't leave the garage.

Works well on 2009 Buell XB12Scg
I replaced bad original starter clutch from my 2009 Buell XB12Scg by this All Balls HD# 31663-90 unit and it works really well. Original starter from Buell has gasket on shaft, this clutch does not have gasket, but it does not leak anyway. Works with no issues already 7000 miles. 5 stars.

Fits and works as expected
This was a direct fit and upgrade for my 95 FLHTCU EVO Big twin.Works as expected.

Great Part- much stronger than stock
This clutch is about 50% of cost of what HD dealer wanted for a replacement - non US Made.Part seems well made, and is heavier than stock replacement - seems to work very well on my EVO bagger-

need to take the bendix apart to replace...not a simple swap out. better to buy a whole starter
fixed my problem for the most part. still have some engagement issues but it's 80% better than the OEM one...wasn't a 100% solution but a lot better...this is just the clutch so you will need to take the Bendix completely apart. a bit of a pain but no more than pulling the starter is gonna be anyway. The shop manual is limited help to get this removed from the starter internals...update...basically crap...never worked right. I had to install a manual push switch on the solenoid end and still it oftern just spins without engagement.
