Some games struggle with ultra wide, but I love it!
Got this for $200 in 2022. 100% worth that price. Amazing monitor. I had to mod lethal company, Skyrim, fallout 4 and more games to actually work in ultrawide, not the monitors fault, just lack of support from developers. Elden ring plays in 1920x1080 with a little stretch due to Elden Ring having anti cheat that doesn't cause ultra wide to work. But the fact the screen does the stretching for working with consoles and Elden Ring is great. I have nothing bad to say about the monitor, Vesa mount that I use works great on this. After 2 years I'd like to upgrade to a oled screen, but I'll probably run this monitor till it dies, and after 2 years, it still is amazing.

Solid Monitor, Solid Stand
I write this review as a casual gamer, full-time student, and someone who uses CAD while working at home.In terms of value, I think there is a sufficient amount here. Let me explain why. When comparing apples to apples, you can easily find a widescreen for under $200 at 75 Hz. If you want a faster refresh rate, you're immediately over $200.If you want this for more than gaming, perhaps you are looking at PIP, PNP, i.e. splitting the screen. You could find a worse Chinese brand and save $10... or your could get one from a company that has a reputation to uphold. I have already bought from MSI and they honored a warranty on my laptop. It takes a little more than plugging and playing, but not much. The one thing you will need to do is go to your graphics card settings and make sure you are in low latency mode. I still haven't gotten the color quite right, but I think there are enough controls that I eventually will.My monitor is against the wall, so sorry I don't actually care about the RGB color strip. I will review the stand while the wall mount is on the way, though. It's a quality stand that hooks into the monitor and screws on. The base is sufficiently heavy. The monitor easily slides up and down and tilts forward and back, but not side to side. You can fit a VESA mount on it if it's small enough to fit inside the 4 3/4" square on the back (100mm x 100mm hole spacing) or use the included screw hole extenders if the plate is larger. The input ports are well below the mounting point, so they are pointed down and out of the way of any mounting plates. There is a little cable management hole in the base of the stand for those who care. This is probably more than I need for my laptop's 1660 TI. I think if I were to buy again, I'd get a 75 Hz monitor since games like Splitgate rarely exceed 70 Hz when I plug into this monitor (around 100 Hz on a 1920x1080 screen). Somehow, higher refresh rates make me want to puke less after hours of use, though, which is important to me.One more thing: I think the menu on this monitor is a bit sparse. I have seen other MSI monitor interfaces online and they offer far more customization.

The Best/Perfect 29/30" Ultrawide Monitor for Gaming Period
I generally don't leave reviews, but I just have to tell everyone how great this monitor is.The monitor arrived in perfect condition. Zero dead pixels and no backlight bleed at all. The Monitor was color calibrated out of the box perfect. The screen lighting uniformity is also perfect. I've been waiting for an IPS GSYNC 200hz Ultrawide in 29/30" (2560x1080) for years now. This is the first monitor to fit the bill and it is absolutely perfect. There really is no other word for it. The Monitor telescopes up and down on the stand which is a very nice touch. I honestly can't believe it's at this low of a price point. I would have easily paid twice the price for this monitor.I've tested GSYNC and HDR using Destiny 2 running on a Razer Blade w/ RTX 2080 and both work perfect. GSYNC is buttery smooth and HDR colors pop so much it almost looks 3D.It also has a cross hair built in that you can bring up on the screen if you like sort of thing that games can not detect. If you are thinking about buying this monitor, definitely do not hesitate. You will be very satisfied. For my taste this is the perfect size gaming monitor and it's the only 29/30" (2560x1080) Ultrawide monitor to have an IPS panel with GSYNC and 200Hz. It does not disappoint, it's simply.....perfect.One thing I wanted to add was this monitor is flat. The discriptions says curved but this monitor is actually flat and not curved at all. I prefer the monitor to be flat and because I had read up on this monitor before buying I knew it was flat when purchasing it but I did want everyone to know the discription on that part is wrong, it is indeed a completely flat screen monitor.

Great monitor, even from someone who's coming from 34 inch 1440p or even 49 inch ultrawide monitors
I love this monitor. I have used Samsung G9 49" ultrawide and Acer Predator 34" 1440p ultrawide monitors in the past, but recently decluttered my tech setup to be just one laptop, instead of laptop and desktop. That did mean sacrificing a bit of performance, but my 4070 Blade 14 is plenty powerful enough, and this monitor is perfect. At 1080p but at 30", it is not so big as to make things look too pixelated, while not being too demanding. The stand on this monitor is very adjustable and goes up pretty high in terms of height, which makes it great for ergonomics. Furthermore, the freesync works great. And all of that at a pretty reasonable price too.I'd highly recommend this monitor.
