I recently got this loaf pan and it’s quickly become my go-to for baking bread, meatloaf, and even some sweet loaf cakes. This pan is heavy-duty and pre-seasoned, so it heats evenly and gives that nice crust you want on homemade loaves, and I haven't been using it for that long, but it seems like it will hold up over time. The shape is great, and the dual handles make it easy to get in and out of the oven, considering how heavy it is. The only issue I've had is that cleaning in the corners can be a bit of a hassle—especially if you don’t use parchment or soak it right after baking. Even if you don't use parchment it has a non-stick layer so its easy to release the bread. Overall, it’s a cheap, but good quality version of a classic piece of cookware that’s great if you like homemade breads and want a durable, versatile pan.

Love these and work great for white bread. I just put a little olive oil on it and cooks perfectly.

This is the best pan that I used for sourdough. I wish that I had bought this in the beginning! It is the perfect size, weight, non-stick pan. Bread pops out after baking. I didn’t need all the extra lifts, parchment, or anything else like I use for my round bread! The weight is perfect as I am in my seventies and it was easy to handle., All you do is rinse it out, dry thoroughly and coat it w oil. Then drop your dough in! I baked it with a steam pan in my oven and it’s the best loaf I’ve ever baked! DO NOT USE SOAP on these pans. There should be at least 10 stars for this pan! Love Lodge!

I went through so many reviews of bread pans to find the perfect one. I wanted to get one that wasn't coated in Teflon. I looked into the Caraway pans, but they seemed a bit too pricey. I'm glad I went with this one--I love it! I did worry that the baked bread would stick to it, but so far I have not had any issues. As long as you oil it well. The crust turns out better with this one than it does with my other bread pans. I might by another one so I can do 2 loaves at a time. It is heavy and durable, but since it is cast iron, you do need to maintain it well.

I actually use this on my wood burner at my cabin for humidifier and it has lasted. I would recommend

The cast iron loaf pan is nice. What isn’t nice is that someone at the Amazon fulfillment center put a HEAVY cast iron pan into a thin brown shipping envelope along with other very small items. The envelope was literally torn in half when it was delivered. Do better Amazon. Surely someone should have stopped to think about putting a very heavy metal object into a paper shipping envelope.

This pan is fantastic! I make double batch of bread every 2 weeks, one in this pan and one in a glass pan. The cast iron pan does a far better job of baking the bread evenly. Highly recommend.

Just season the pan properly and it works like a charm..no sticking and much better than aluminium pan..

Just as expected from lodge. Great quality and will last forever. A bit inconvenient to wash by hand and dry thoroughly (just like any cast iron pan) but it’s still worth it knowing there are no chemicals leaching into the food. If you are hesitant just buy it - you won’t regret it

After first wash it became rusty Cannot be used anymore I do not recommend this article
