However buyer beware, this isn’t a completely flat press. I was under the impression that it was a decently thick piece of cast iron given the images. It’s not. It’s a lip that has an inner empty space that is about 1/2 inch. So if you were looking for something to really flatten things like a smash burger, this isn’t it. Unless 1/2 inch thickness is what you were looking for but it still serves as a great press for cooking foods that require a weight.
