Great little device for upholstery staples
Had to get these to remove the staples off upholstery on a recliner to replace the entire bottom wooden spring seat. They do an excellent job of removing tough staples with a minimum of abuse on your hands (unlike a flat-head screwdriver or a chisel). I did what I needed to do with one of these, and got a second in case I ever lose it. Wonderful little tools for all your staple removing needs.

Works great (with modifications)
I've only recently started doing upholstery. I've been replacing the fabric interior of jewelry display cases in a high end retail store. They sometimes have thousands (no exaggeration) of staples in the back of the mdf panels. I've tried many different options of tools to remove the staples from these panels. The sinohome staple remover looked perfect in the description on Amazon. However, it needed one small modification to work like I needed it to. I had to sharpen the tip that digs under the staples to a sort of rounded chisel-like tip. It comes out of the box as an almost blunt tip. Once modified its the best tool I've found for the job yet.

NOT heavy duty
I used this tool on Heavy Duty nails but it bent on the first one.I tried it on upholstery and it got through 5 staples!!!This is meant for thin staples that are SHORT!

*This review is about the manufacturer and the specific item*Complete garbage! I've used a Crain staple remover for years, and decided to give these a try since they had a softer handle. Well... the quality in manufacturing is terrible. The rubber grips were all jacked up on BOTH of these that I received, and one of them had the metal shank part mounted all crooked and wonky in the handle. I gave one to my kid, and tossed the other in the trash. It wasn't even worth interrupting my work to open the package. Get the Crain one, it's only like 8 bucks, and mine lasted me several years before I "loaned" it out. Beware, these Sinohomes are sold under 6 or 7 different names; if it looks like the pic, it's the same one.

Sorta a good puller depends what the wood is.
I waited a little while to write this review. I have to admit this product is a great ideal ; but the reason i waited was i didn't have in my shop all i needed to do a proper test. This puller works great with soft woods and manual syaple guns. I had a customer bring some older chair bottoms in to recover the wood is a hard wood oak or maple and they used a air stapler last time thay were recovered. This staple remover doesn't have a sharp enough nose to get under the staple i had to resort back to the orher style puller i have with the two sharp points to strip these bottoms. Jjust a suggestion to the maker you need to have a more pointed end the rounded end don't work with hard wood and air staplers other than that its a good product. I would love for you to make a pointed one and let me try it. .

Worked way better than I had expected for getting those annoying staples out of hardwood floors. I wish I had known about this gadget when I first started pulling them out. I would have saved a lot of time and pain in my hand. These this work great and no stress on your hand using them. If you position it properly, it does the work with no force.

Definitely a must-buy if you plan to do any reupholstering
I promised my wife I'd reupholster the 6 stools for our bar-height breakfast table and it was taking me more than two evenings to pull all the staples out of each cushion using just a small screwdriver and set of needle-nosed pliers. Needless to say when I received these and began using them it cut my time in less than half. Construction of the head and grip are top-notch and the removers are comfortable to use continuously. I was optimistic when buying the 2-pack thinking that someone else in my family would help me but no matter. Definitely a must-buy if you plan to do any reupholstering.

We bought an old house with hardwood floors that someone put carpet on. Pulling Staples with ploers was very slow so I gave these a try. They really worked nicely. A sharper tip would have been nice for some of the ones that were down tight but that would be my only not pick here. Very Happy with my purchase.
