It's my second unit. I was the cause of death on the first
I broke my first unit. Dropped it and dishwasher cleaned probes. But I bought a second for a reason. Great value for a wired unit. I compared all 4 probes at the same heat in the oven and they were all within a couple degrees.

I have used this 5-10 times so far and it’s performed as expected

So far so good… all probes and main unit worked
All good so far… one surprise was that I received an open box model, batteries installed and with one of the 4 probes outside of the box. I don’t recall the sale website saying that this was an open box purchase.

Awesome device
Prime rib in the oven yesterday and turkey on the grill today. Takes the guesswork out and no need to measure temp towards end of estimated cooking time. Delicious temperature perfect cooking.

Works if you watch the app like a hawk
The temp probes are accurate and update at a rate you would expect from this type of device. However, the app suggests that to get notifications you should keep your phone on with the app open. Not sure if this is a technical limitation of Android/Bluetooth or the device, but it's not ideal. Would be better off with a dedicated wireless monitor type thermometer.

Great customer support!
I bought this thermometer to have Bluetooth function so I don't have to check my smoker grill so often. I also like that it has four probes to cook up to four different items. Unfortunately, my unit didn't turn on but the manufacturer immediately sent a new one out and it worked perfectly! The customer support from Govee is great! Thank you!

Haven’t used this one yet, but it works like my old one. My old one melted. I wouldn’t recommend using the built in magnets. Just place it away from the unit
