This is a handy pump works well , today was cloudy and still was working ok . In the sun no issues . Had it running for a week now alone all is ok. In the evenings it stops but as I just have a Lilly in no issues . Great little product

For the price it's great. I used this solar pump to create some surface agitation and a filter by padding it with filter wool and foam in a small cage and feeding the tube around a branch. It sits in a 65litre bucket pond and I clean the foam and wool every so often when it's all turned brown.It helped clear the pond quickly keeping the water clear shortly after adding new plants and disturbing the substrates. It works surprisingly well in direct sunlight, and put put puts away when shady, turning off in total shade. it offers enough for what I need. If its not fixed in place this could travel around and empty your pond so add a weight or fix it in place if using as a fountain - clean it every so often, and don't expect too much from a cheap solar panel!

This little pump is great when the sun is out. The tiniest bit of cloud and it becomes a small bubble or stops altogether but it is solar powered so that’s to be expected. Plenty of different heads so you can change the fountain style to your preference. I used it in a home made water feature and through the recent heatwave it was run almost all day without any problems. Don’t forget the pump needs to be submersed in water to work without burning out so you may need to top up the water reservoir in hot weather if the water evaporates. In my homemade water feature the stones are suspended above the water reservoir using a round BBQ grill, otherwise the water wouldn’t be deep enough for the pump to work. For the price of this pump I can’t fault it.

If you do decide to order this pump after reading all the positive reviews, thinking you'll be luckier than all of us who gave it one or two stars, then I wish you all the best. I hope you have more consistency with your pump than I and countless others had. If you do buy it, remember to cover the solar panel when you take it out of the box so that it doesn't start working until you are ready. This pump worked great for 1 hour when I set up. Then the next day, it would only pulse water out of the tubing, even though I would have thought there was enough sun. I had located the panel in direct sunlight, securing it to the fence as it doesnt come with a stake to secure it into the ground. The next day was a warm clear blue sky day and the pump was working great....for 1 hour, then it went back to pulsing for no apparent reason. It hasn't worked properly since. I'm genuinely gutted because I thought it would be good enough for my tiny little water feature, but nope. Cheap quality, tiny pump which is not fit for purpose. Don't waste your money!

Good for fountain

Love this little pump I have 2 bird baths now set up and they are a great talking point. The pum is just right for a small water feature. I will be adding more. I have seen a couple of negative views on here about this pump I can only guess they didn’t clean the filter every now and then, this is in the instructions, or they were just unlucky.

While the pump is easy to set up and has good power to it, it has stopped working recently after around 3 months of use. If you’re buying this for a pond-don’t bother as it won’t work for long.

I brought this some time ago for my water feature. It still works. Good value for money, flow rate better than I expected. Overwintered twice and still works.

És perfecta según lo que deseaba. Veremos el resultado de aquí a un tiempo. Compré anteriormente la que se sumerge en el agua y no me duró nada. Enseguida entró agua en un panel y dejó de funcionar. Ésta, al tener el panel fuera, espero ver la durabilidad.

Très sympa cette petite fontaine autonome ! Pour le prix c'est un super gadget, les différents jets sont bien distincts pour pouvoir s'adapter à l'environnement de la fontaine. Pas de batterie pas d'interrupteur, du soleil elle fonctionne, plus de soleil elle se coupe 👍

Questo prodotto ha delle ottime critiche e se le merita tutte sia per come è fatto sia per il suo funzionamento semplice intuitivo ma soprattutto efficace. Ho visto che tanti l'hanno utilizzato per il motivo per cui è nato mentre altri come me lo hanno utilizzato in maniera più fantasiosa e in tutti i casi siamo rimasti contenti. Io lo utilizzo per scaricare l'acqua dal lavandino della cucina quando lavo la frutta. Consumo una quantità d'acqua enorme e visto che l'acqua è praticamente pulita la recupero. Ho fatto con gli accessori in dotazione un mini impianto di scarico che funziona benissimo e in più è a pannelli solari.
