Delta Children Turbo Race Car Twin Bed, Black

I got this bed for my son for Christmas. It was easy to put together. Only thing I would say is just make sure you have all the pieces thank God I had all my pieces. I wish I came with the actual mattress. But the bed is so cute. Can’t wait till he sees it.

It's bigger than you might think. Do your measurements. WHY THIS PARTICULAR ONE? If you want the best value, grab this Turbo style one over the Delta Children's licensed car beds. The Disney/Pixar/DC themed ones will be more expensive. The mold on this one I think is better and looks more car-like. Comes in pink, blue, red or black with yellow accents (pictured). Decals are actually of excellent quality, thick, shiny, glossy and easy to remove from the backing w/o tearing. SELECT THE RIGHT MATTRESS: Mattress sold separately sits on the ground. This bed is a bottomless frame that goes around the permiter of a mattress that you supply. I went with a taller than standard twin sized mattress which allows the top of the mattress to be flush with the back of the car's hood, making it easy to slide off the bed. Those with younger kids may want a standard thickness mattress which will allow the side rails (head and foot rails too) to be taller. I don't think it would look as good and to me would be claustrophobic. Used this for my 4 year old. he won't fall out. INSTALLATION IS EASY No silly allen wrenches. Just philips head screws and a couple washers. It may take another pair of hands to flip the bed frame over during part of the installation b/c to assemble the front and side pieces, it needs to be done upside down. You do have to put the spoiler and wheel decals on last b/c they hide screws that you need to install first. A lot fewer screws than you'd expect. Easier to assemble than IKEA furniture. If you're going to complain about having to put the decals on yourself, this clearly isn't hte product for you. The decals are the most fun part! WHAT WAS I SURPRISED BY? Good quality parts, but it doesn't weigh that much. I brought it up to the bedroom from the garage after delivery by myself in pieces. Just unpack and haul up piece by piece. Just enough to be sturdy and feel well made. But not so heavy that it's hard to move around if you really wanted to. Decals are good quality, installation was easy. The decal set had extra stickers in case you don't like the 68 number. They include a set of the number, 45. Not sure why they included a separate grill decal which doesn't appear on the instruction sheet.

My son is car crazy and loves his blue car bed. Well made, easy to install and looks cute. The value for money is great and it sots low to the great, so even little children can climb in and out safely on their own

I bought 2 of these! They are so cute! My son has always wanted a race car bed and even though he’s almost 11 this just checked every box! He LOVES IT! It’s a lightweight thick plastic. (Thing cozy coup) so the quality is kid proof! It took 5 minutes to put together! My kids can’t wait to go to bed in these ! And they sleep great! Warning the stickers take about 30 minutes to put on 😂

Great deal for the price. The instructions and stickers are a bit confusing, so please take your time putting it together. It’s still pretty easy and took me about 15min to assemble and 15 to sticker. You will need a box spring, and 5” isn’t enough. Learn from my mistakes lol. This made transitioning from crib to bed for our 3yr old a breeze.

Nice heavy plastic that my kid (hopefully) cant damage. He's finally sleeping in his own room through the night! There is no base for the bed so the mattress slips in straight to the floor so he cant hide things or crawl under. Mattress fits snug so there are no cracks to fall into Downside. The red clips to assemple were warped making it very difficult to connect the pieces. One of the holes for the fin was faulty so we had to get an extra long screw and rig it on.

Great car bed, actually bigger than I thought but my son absolutely loves his car bedframe. My son has been into cars like crazy so wanted to get him this car bed frame for him.

We LOVE this bed! Be careful if you have a small space it does take up a lot of room. It was easy to assemble the only thing that sucks is there is space between the bed and mattress so of course with having boys I’m constantly finding toys in there 😅

We bought this bed 3 years ago for my son, he is still using it.It very low on height so it is safe for toddlers. It’s good and we love it.

Super easy to assemble … i did it by myself. It was tricky but once I figured it out . All good.

Our 2 year son loves his race car bed and his 4 year old twin sisters love it too! Perfect for little kids with just a mattress as the plastic sides prevent them from falling out. A foundation/box spring might be better for bigger kids. Easy to put together & great value for money. My only concern is that the stickers might peel off.
