Rather Small
This is quite a nice product but needed careful ironing as it arrived rolled up and folded flat. A little steam and the creases came out but slightly disappointed in that even with the velcro adjustment set quite wide it was still a little small and assume the model shown has a rather small head. My wife found that it would only sit on top of her head and not wrap around as shown on the photograph so was very insecure in a breeze. She had hoped to use it in our open sports car rather than her usual baseball cap but it seems the baseball cap will still be needed.

Super sun visor, would highly tecommend
The media could not be loaded. I find it so amusing how little to no common sense some people have 😆 when I read a few of the reviews. All it needs is some steam applied to the straw and all the fold lines come out, it come folded flat, of course it isn’t going to just ping open with no fold lines! I have a steam iron, within 2 minutes you can have it looking just like the image on Amazon. Ensure you also steam the black fabric section as the straw part of the hat goes up into the black section so it will still sit awkward if you don’t steam iron all of it, then curve it round whilst still hot and it will set in the perfect shape. So ideal for me, I often have my long thick brunette hair tied up in the summer and then struggle with not being able to put a sun hat on for shade and I dislike baseball caps. This is great I can still stay cooler round my neck and have my hair up out the way and have this on which provides a lovely shaded area on my face whilst reading in the garden, would highly recommend for anyone wanting to have there hair tied up off there neck and also wanting to wear a hat for face shade, looks lovely, nice quality and good price

Not very practical
Oh dear! I'm not sure where to start. This paper-straw sun visor arrives folded flat in a plastic bag. Luckily mine was only folded in two places essentially, so with the help of a generous fine spray of water and the iron I was able to restore it more or less to its required shape, although you can still just see the main two fold lines. The velcro tabs at the back do enable you to create the fit you need, but the main problem is that the visor peak is so large that it comes down far too low on your face acting like blinkers, and making it impossible to walk safely as you lose so much peripheral vision. If you just want something to shade your eyes and keep the sun off your face while reading in a deckchair this would do the job but it is not flattering, and would not be my first choice of sun-visor.

straw sun visor hat wide brim
So the description states this is a:-Women straw sun visor hat wide brim summer UV protection beach cap foldable packable korean style. The sun visor is made of woven straw and can be rolled up with a open-up headband, the velco fastening says its adjustable for head sizes 21’’-23.5’’.Once delivered it comes rolled up, it easy enough to open out. If you just leave it open the creases will fall out but other wise sprinkle some water and leave in the sun it will soon flatten out.Being foldable it is good to pack in your back and forget about it to maybe you need it.I think the trick with this is to get it positioned correctly. I found it good for when sat down and working on my phone sat out in the sun. But walking around I found it a bit anoying, it was blinkering my vision. So I'm a bit 50/50 at the moment, but I will update this review if needed.*** Size:- 5.5’’ extra large rim*** Made of:- Eco-friendly recyclable natural material. * 100% pure cotton for the headband, * 100% woven paper straw for the rim*** 1 year warranty

Good eco-friendly recyclable materials, travels well
The 5.5” extra-large bill makes it ideal to protect one’s face if you want to have a snooze on the beach but I couldn’t find a way of wearing it when out and about as I couldn’t see where I was going! I’m glad that they provide a free return and a 1 year warranty as I found this visor hard to get used to. That is the reason I have dropped a star but maybe other people would find a way of handling it better than I could. The visor can be easily rolled up and packed away or attached to your bag etc. and only put on when you want to nod off in the sun.The info states that it is UPF 50+, I don’t know how that is tested but you can see through the visor so if you do have it pulled down ‘resting’ you can still make out as to what is going on around you.I had very fast delivery and It came appropriately packed in a padded envelope.

just awful like wearing a lampshade
This is the worst attempt at a sun visor /hat I've ever tried on.Forgetting about the creases, it was evident straight away that it would not be of any use since the brim is made of too floppy for the size fabric, and the fastening band too wide.to allow it to be worn further back on the head to compensate.I wonder was it even compared to other sun visors out there in actual use before selling it. The fabric needs to be thinner and lighter or not as big a brim used. A sun visor needs to be made so you can see in front of you!

Stubborn folds and abrasive on forehead
I love visors because they are much cooler than sun hats. They have folded this one, and it's pretty much determined to stay folded. So you don't get the curve like in the picture, you just get a couple of right angles. I have tried wetting for the brim and straightening it out and leaving it to dry but it's made hardly any different. I might try steaming it. What a pity they didn't roll it. It doesn't have the head-vice thing that hurts your skull. It's plenty big enough. Also, the inner headband isn't as comfortable as some. It's lighly abrasive polyester fabric and it's sewn straight onto the weave, so you get a seam and some of the weave abraiding your forehead. Might be ok for the few minutes but I wouldn't like to wear this for any length of time. It's a no from me. (Aunty B)
