Wakes a Keto diet right up!
I enjoy a bit of mitmita on my morning eggs, and I used to get it from a nearby Ethiopian restaurant. Since our move, that restaurant is some 600+ miles away. I needed another source.Enter Africa's Finest Mitmita.Decent price (even with the shipping charge), and excellent packaging. The plastic is thick, and the zipper top doesn't get clogged with product, helping me to keep it fresh because face it - even if you eat it every day, as I do, it takes a while to go through this much. I've had this since January, and there's nothing stale/faded/off in the flavor.Heat: Probably perfect for most. I wish it were a little warmer, but I use some high-Scoville cayenne to make things pop without materially altering the flavor. It's right at the border of the max of what my husband can handle, he who orders mild most of the time, or medium when he wants a kick. My dear Midwestern man... :) But if I go light with it in something creamy, such as a cheesy cauliflower dish, he loves it! So do I.Bottom line: Great taste, excellent value. Very similar to what I'd get from the restaurant. Great for the Ethiopian dishes that call for it, of course. But also incredibly versatile - try it in other cuisines. Use it when you want a kick and maybe a bit of variety from the same-ole same-ole hot condiment. Mix some into ketchup if you use that on hotdogs (I know, religious wars on this). If you don't, try it anyway. Explore the dark side. You're welcome :)

It wasn't a Mitmita at all.
I am an Ethiopian and I am very familiar with what Mitmita looks and tastes like and this wasn't it. I bought this product because I run out of the Mitmita I brought from home and it was a complete disappointment. It is not that it wasn't a good Mitmita, it is not a Mitmita at all.

The REAL mitmitah
I was eating this stuff in Tigray region of Ethiopia; basically got addicted to it. I brought home a large package of it but I quickly ran out. I tried the U Simply Season one and it was disgusting. I noticed that most mitmitahs on Amazon were not from Ethiopia- FAKE mitmitah. But this stuff is fairly hot, the color and smell are like the Ethiopian one, it has the correct blend of spices and it is from Habasha (Ethiopia). I highly recommend it for those seeking the real mitmitah.

A little too salty
Not the level of saltiness I was expecting. I just wanted the spice flavour.

Excellent Mitmita
MitmitaMitmita is hard to find. While I was annoyed that I could not find the amount of mitmita in the package, I went ahead and got it anyway. I was not disappointed. The flavor was fresh and true.

Tastes like pure salt
It sucks! And no return policy! Don't get it! It's like pure salt with little spices!

Brown and salty
Just received this today and it was brown in color not the expected fresh red color in the picture. I was also salty so I'm not going to re-order again.
