Totally awesome!
Wow, this collection was AWESOME!This collection of novellas takes place between the second and the not-yet-released (AHH!) third book of the Biodome Chronicles series. Each story follows one of the newly appointed Elements - Ember, Skylar, and Rain - as well as Mack and Lynden. It was so much fun getting into each character's head and getting to see more of their world. This is a great addition to the series, and a good holdover until the third book, Gamemaster, comes out. I can't wait! :D

While it's two predecessors are fantastic, Transitions steals the show.
"Legacy and Elements, the incredible first and second installments of the Biodome Chronicles, are the prequels to this wonderful novella, Transitions. I loved the first two books dearly, but I have to say that Transitions is my favorite of the series, thus far. There is something so beautifully cohesive and transparent in Jesikah's exploration of her characters here. Short stories often force the writer into "getting there" in a hurry, when it comes to character exploration. Jesikah achieves this with a familiarity and effortlessness that can only come from these incredible characters having crystalized over a longer journey. As ever, Jesikah's storytelling is superb. With each subsequent installment of this series, her writing becomes progressively more assertive and effortless. In Transitions, the characters seemingly wield her keyboard, possessing her as she types the scenes; Jesikah a mere vessel to their voices and actions.I don't know where she is going next with these characters, but Transitions could eventually be seen as the looking glass through which these people became living, breathing entities. A benchmark, so to speak, for lovers of this series who will look to this novella as a guidebook for getting inside the heads and hearts of each and every one them.I cannot wait for the next installment of the series."
