Weeylite: K21 RGB Light Stick
▬ Pros ▬▬▬✔ Build Quality: The overall feel of the light is quite robust, so definitely feels of high quality.✔ Portability: The light stick is compact in size and VERY lightweight; it's easy to store in a rucksack and carrying around.✔ Mounting: You can use a tripod with a 1/4" thread to mount this light onto it or utilise the magnets on the back of the light to stick it onto certain surfaces (such as a fridge).✔ Usability: Simple enough to navigate around the settings manually; alternatively, download the 'Weeylite' app which works brilliantly!✔ Weeylite App: The app allows you to control one or more K21 light sticks either individually or as a group. The app is very responsive when it comes to changing the light output such as colour or brightness.✔ Colours & Modes: You can choose between CCT (2500K-8500K), RGB or Lighting Effects; the amount of different colours you can choose from it very appealing.✔ Battery: For a light its size, the battery life is fairly reasonable, offering up to an hour of use on a full charge when the light is on maximum brightness.▬ Neutral ▬▬▬• Brightness: The K21 light stick may not be suitable as a key light in a lot of situations, but for some side lighting or back lighting; this will do the job.▬ Cons ▬▬▬✖ Can't think of any at this time.

It Was Great, Until It Died
I really loved this thing. I thought it was brilliant. I used it on a couple of shoots - yeah, okay, the battery life wasn't phenomenal on full whack, but the colour gamut was a game changer. However, after not shooting with it for a few months, I went to use it (charging as it was being used) and it never turned back on. I tried charging for a few hours, different charger bricks, leads, the lot. Nothing. It died. Maybe mine was faulty, but it left a sour taste in the mouth and I'd recommend a more expensive but hardier/premium light if you're intending on using it frequently. Last thing you want is to rely on something that is prone to early-onset death. Especially on a professional shoot.

Makes changing lighting colours very simple.
This Weeylite K21 handheld light wand with magnets is a really good piece of kit especially if you need to do some still photography giving different colour effects. The advantage it has is it can be also mounted or held by the handle. Our son who does photography for a hobby is very impressed. He has added it to his kit. It is not heavy to carry around. The magnets on it are strong and very robust which gives you a chance to move the lighting as you want and the colour you want. The light being rechargeable makes it easier than changing the batteries each time. It takes a while to charge and works to it full capacity for approx one hour from charging. So having your shot worked out before you start helps you to use it wisely which sometimes cannot be done in photography as there a more often than not adjustments to be made. The hue can also be adjusted to suit the shot. You can play around with the colours and create colours to bring out the best. The heat that this lite gives out is lesser than the others. The app being on the phone is an advantage is once you set up you can play around and don't need help saving time of having to move around. The Oled display helps by showing you the different colours, the level of heat and the battery usage which is really very handy. A user friendly gadget for those especially into any form of photography .
