Will the hook and loop backing also work with a clamp on model palm sander?

Yes. I use it with clamp model palm sander. Plenty of overhang. Works well.

If I am sanding kitchen cupboards what level should I use?

Depends on the existing surface - if painted use about 60 grit sandpaper, if stained use about a 40 grit sandpaper, use primer and sand again with about a lighter grit smoother grit sandpaper, maybe a 100 grit. Use block sanding techniques for a smoother flat surfacing technique. Good luck, have fun and take your time.

Are these sanding sheets already cut down to size for use with the dewalt (dwe6411k) and are they compatible with it?

Yes. I just received them a month ago, so I can’t comment on their performance, but there may be a case when you’ll have to trim a pre-cut sheet. When you’ve had your sander for awhile, you’ll notice that the rubber backing pad wears down. That’s a part that’s easily replaced. I’ve purchased a number of them over the years. Meanwhile, while your not quite ready to replace the pad, you’ll have to trim a pre-sized sheet since the pad has mushed down. I’ve trimmed as much as 3/16 inch, while still getting use from a worn-down pad.

Do these fit FS500 black and decker sander?

If you sander accepts 1/4 sheets (5.5x4.5"), it will work. A full sheet of sandpaper is typically 9 x 11 inches. A 1/4 sheet is cut down from that. Of course, that means you can make your own 1/4 sheets by cutting down you own full sheets. This is often less expensive. However, these pre-cut sheets are convenient.
