Cooling lasts longer than a couple hours.

We bought 3 packs so a total of 6 for after a knee replacement surgery. They have worked very well. I am a lil biased because I had one left from a company that we represented that was excellent, but these have held up and worked very well. We never used the heat function just the cold function. I put 3 packs in each of the zip lock bags that they came in just in case of possible leaks as some reviews had mentioned, but as brutal as we have been with them we have had no leaks and they are still cold after 6 months of repetitive use.

These ice packs are just what we wanted. They cool quickly, and they are very flexible if we need to bend them around a joint that aches. I put a kitchen towel around the ice pack when I use it because it can get a little too cold for me. I have used the ice pack on my hip and on my back. It can also be used on knees, or almost any area that needs to be iced. The gel also stays in place. It doesn't all move to one end or the other. After returning it to the freezer, it is always perfectly flat and ready for the next time we need it. It's a good purchase.

These are great for when any of my family have a fever. However, they only stay cold for about 20 minutes so be sure you have enough on hand if you use them for fevers.

They stay in a jelly form. They get cold but doesn't freeze into a solid. Perfect for what I needed.

Order these as I was using them for swelling on my foot. They freeze very fast and they stay cold for a very long time. Did not expect when I ordered it that I would get four. I thought I was only getting two, but it was a happy accident will certainly order again as these were great not just for keeping the swelling down but for also using for anything else.
