good fit for my cub 1811

This is my second B&S Vanguard engine purchased in less than a year and a half. The first one ran out of oil and seized the engine. Briggs did not cover it under warranty stating I ran it out of oil. Silly me, why would I expect the oil to be fine with less than 30 hours on the engine? The oil was changed after break in period and was checked to verify there was the proper amount in the engine. It was during a busy time of year and I failed to check it that week. I have had other engines, Kohler, Kawasaki that had many many more hours on them and didn’t require checking the oil every day. Since this engine was the only one that would fit into my machine without a major redesign I was forced to buy ANOTHER B&S. If I ever have a chance I will always steer clear of B&S engines in the future. Did I mention the new one uses oil too? I have to check it after EVERY job. However, I do not fault the seller, this is why I gave 5 stars. They are a great company and tried very hard to help me with my above listed problem. I will definitely use them again.

Bought this motor to replace an old one in our cherry picker and the installation was easy with detailed instructions and it fired right up. NOTE: muffler not included so if you don't have one you need to buy one
