Be sure to drill a second hole underneath the first recess to allow for the center section of the loadcell to deflect. After hooking it up, I was able to measure objects as low as 13 g and as high as 180 pounds. I had nothing in the house heavier than myself, otherwise I would have weighed it.The hx711 library is well documented and easy to find on GitHub. It is also a very well written library for Arduino, esp8266/32.

As a previous reviewer mentioned, the wires are 26/28 awg, very delicate and difficult to work with. If you are trying to take out the excess wire, leave yourself some wiggle length. I wouldn't buy these again just because of that.

If you have an adjustable temp solderer you will be fine, but if you're like me and have a one setting iron then you will have a tough time with these
