Huge bang for the buck. I can tell when things are in focus or not. Easier to setup shots. Color is slightly off from what actually records but so minimal never made an issue with me. I set my cameras by color temperature and have done that for years so I know what my colors are going to look like in post anyways I don't need a monitor for color balancing. It could be black and white and I know what I'm going to get in post since I have a big grasp on color temperature and how to bend the rules to get the color I want from my camera, so this monitor is perfect for me. I don't need a color monitor to set color. Color helps for a reference.low price with big results.Any bigger in size and it would be ridiculous. 7" is the biggest I would want to work with, any bigger than 7" is a waste of money. I power it up by AC mostly, the battery plate will use Sony L series batteries and will run the monitor a fairly long time, I have not put that to the test though. ran for over an hour and meter showed the battery went down one bar.
