I switched to MERV 13 filters because of seasonal allergies and a dusty house, and the difference has been easy to notice.What I like:• Less dust settling on furniture and shelves, and my allergy symptoms eased within a couple of weeks.• The fit is spot on. The actual size is slightly under 16x25x1, as expected, and it slides in snugly with no gaps.• It captures fine particles like pollen, pet dander, and smoke, and the filter was visibly gray when I swapped it out.• A 4-pack is a good value and covers a full year on the 3-month schedule.• Sturdy frame that doesn't bend or collapse when installed.What could be better:• MERV 13 is more restrictive, so check that your system can handle it. Some older units may strain.• Heavy dust or pets may mean changing it sooner than 3 months.Tip: Write the install date on the frame and set a phone reminder. Make sure the airflow arrow points toward the furnace or blower.If you want better air quality at a fair price, I'd recommend these. I'll be reordering when I run out.

Exactly what I ordered and arrived quickly and well packaged. No damage. This size fits my furnace perfectly and are easy to install. These 1900's really reduce allergens and keep our air clean. They are sturdy and help seal the furnace from unwanted dust and other nasty bacteria. I got these for a good price and will purchase again.

Wow! 4 real filters?? With the lightning deal this saved me $40 over time.

Glad I was able to find merv 13 for the odd size of 20x23. They fit and it’s easy to figure out which way is up. I’ve been using filtrate for years because of their quality. They don’t rip when pulling them out like the other brands. My trick is to have a metal ruler to slide in and guide them back out because they can be so hard to grab sometimes due to how furnaces are made when stacked.This will hopefully help put allergies as I was using merv 8 before.

Doesn't _exceed_ expectations, so it doesn't get the fifth star.This package of four filters, plus cardboard pieces cut from the box, plus a fan, plus some tape to seal edges, yields a highly effective and moderately portable room air filter. Corsi-Rosenthal boxes were developed during the COVID-19 "plague years", and can be surprisingly effective. Even if you don't need it for removing virus particles from the air, filtering can reduce allergens and other indoor pollutants.Or, of course, you could get these for their intended use as furnace air filters. In that application the manufacturer suggests replacing them every three months, so this is a year's supply.

Fit perfectly. No complaints

My use was possibly a unique, I was looking to make a large whole room high particulate filter inexpensively. For my use, I take 4 of these and using duct tape, I seal the edges of each to make a 20x20x20 box, I used the actual brown box to cut a flat bottom and then tape a ordinary house box fan taped (and sealed) facing upwards to pull all the air into the filters in the room and fresh clean air out. These work great if working in a confined space like a garage or barn with lots of dust like cutting wood.Thes worked perfectly with a box fan and duct tape, better then the most expensive store bought filter.

We use these to replace the filters on our corsi-rosenthal box filter. They work very well for this. We also have the same brand in 16x30 for another HEPA filter (see separate review). These filters with a simple 20" box fan are the quickest and cheapest way to remove smoke, virus, dust and nearly every other pollutant, except gassious ones, from your home. We made the first one using identical filters during COVID and have also used them to remove wild fire smoke.

The filters were the perfect size to create a a diy room air filtration system along the lines of a Corsi Rosenthal box (google it).Great product and just what I wanted
