These are a bit pricey, IMO, but they work great if you’re allergic to many things and avoid chemical exposures. I started using handkerchiefs years ago when trying to cut down on waste (I’m an avid reduce/reuse/recycle advocate) and was pleasantly surprised at how superior old-fashioned handkerchiefs are to disposable tissues! I think we’ve all been duped by advertising! No more picking pieces of tissues out of your laundry cause someone forgot to empty their pockets! No more need to spend money regularly on Kleenex with lotion to avoid a sore nose, as cotton won’t make your nose sore. And no more crumbles around or in your eyes if you’re having a crying jag with lots of waterworks! 😭 Not to mention being stuck waiting for a kind soul to find you a tissue while you hide your nose! 😉🤣 Cotton is a number one crop that uses glyphosate, which is proven to cause multiple cancers and health issues! So for a multitude of reasons, do yourself a favor and get some of these! You’ll thank yourself later, and so will the planet.👍 I DO suggest getting a larger sized square if using as a tissue replacement.

I've been happily using hankies from Vermont Country Store for many years. When I saw that there were organic cotton hankies, I was happy. The first ones I tried were a good small size for stashing wherever, but the fabric was a little stiff, a tiny bit too thick - even after several washing. This is larger, but a little thinner. Still a bit stiff, but I haven't washed it yet - feeling optimistic!

Make sure you buy the proper size. They are quality handkerchiefs but I ordered some that are too small.

Perfectly sized to take up MINIMAL pocket room and yet be totally adequate to take care of routine sniffles (with great absorbency), as in the winter. If I had an actual cold I'd simply switch to my larger handkerchieves until the cold was over. Worth every penny; I'll probably get another couple sets (my wife wants to get some too). I looked for small handkerchieves for months until I found these; 16" x 16" is now apparently the industry standard.

I'ved ordered several kinds of cloths and this one is my favorite. Soft and absorbent. Great natural looking color. Has no chemical odor. I truly believe it is made organically. It has that kind of special energy. Great size for a variety of tasks including cleaning. Holds up nicely in the wash. Its not often that cloths are worth the investment but these are that and more.

Let's return to a time of genteel, refined living. Perfect size for pockets and purse. Wash, press and reuse!

Medium is too small to be practical.

They're terrible. Too small and the texture is no softer than any non organic handkerchief.
