A great read. I appreciate the art and thought into the plots.

Love this series

I didn’t know this also a mystery series. The FL is eccentrically delightful, smart and completely oblivious to the the ML subtle “love” reactions towards her. His head banging was funny when he realized she smiled at him! Sooo cute. The story is really smartly written. I’m glad it caught my attention to read this series.

Good book

I watched the first three episodes of this series on Crunchyroll when it first released and have been obsessed ever since!!

Just fine.

I love the story and artwork so much. I would of given it 5 stars but this book makes the 2nd one that I've gotten damaged. Book 3s back cover was cut by a box cutter and the back cover of this one is all bent and crumpled. I know it's a shipping issue I just wanted to let people know they might get a damaged product.

So in this volume, Maomao is in a new position, though her duties aren't that different and she does still solve mysteries. There are some interesting new characters, though they're shady. A more overarching plot starts soon from what I remember reading previously, though the series is still fairly episodic.
