My current capacitor was rated at 370V and the HVAC tech suggested I get it changed and quoted me $370 for a replacement and labour. YT university and 15 minutes later it was installed. It was like swapping out a small car battery. I just took basic precautions to prevent organic grounding or unaliving myself. I have basic handyman skill but not HVAC trained.

Great product, our AC unit went out and the compressor would not start other than tripping the breakers. We tested the start capacitor and found it not within specks. We ordered this one as it was the same as ours, and it worked beautifully as our AC unit works just as it should. Thank you guys!

13 months old and failed. 5uf @ 440v on a 220v motor as starter cap. Capacitor failed internally and now reads 387nf. I was expecting much longer life.Update, after contacting YellowHat, they responded quickly (less than 24 hours) and replaced the unit. Great customer service.
