Simply soak it in warm water and then wash the paint off.

This is exactly what I was looking for as a beginner learning watercolour painting. The wells are a decent size and let me mix colours, there are plenty so I can use a lot of colours if I want. It's hefty so when I am mixing or putting my brush around in it, the whole thing stays stable and doesn't move on the table. The glazing was consistent and well done so clean up is a breeze, everything washes right off with water and there was zero staining. Very happy with this purchase.
