How do you know what side to put down?

I put the side down that was against the hard plastic as that seems moister. I don’t think it matters, though.

Does the product hold up if you leave it in the fridge? Will any of the ingredients break down?

Yes, the product can be left in the fridge but if you're not going to use it for more than 1 month we suggest keeping it a room temperature. Putting the eye gels in the fridge 15 minutes before use will enhance the eye depuffing effects.
