Wrong colour advertised. Brown went blue/black
Turned my hair blue/black instead of the brown advertised!! Now my hair is damaged as I had to remove it and it’s currently ginger!! When my hair was light brown to begin with

Leaves Hair in Good Condition Without Ammonia
One of the best features of this colour is the most obvious namely the absence of ammonia and the awful smell that goes with it so you will be popular with the male of the species who always complain about the stink! It is also good that it comes with mixing bottles and some rather flimsy gloves so you have everything you need for the process. It is fairly easy to mix and offers good coverage of the hair although you do need to be careful when applying it to the hair otherwise your hairline and neck can end up coloured as well, but, to be fair, this is the same with all brands. The Choco Mocha shade I was sent was a deep rich brown and corresponded fairly closely to the photo. I found it wise to follow the timings as recommended. The claim that you can get as many as 28 shampoos between colours is pushing it I would say as it only really works with the first grow back of greys and you will need to touch up within 3 to 4 weeks on the problem areas. What I do like about this colour is the way it leaves your hair after use-with more shine than many rivals and actually in good condition with no damage. All in all a good product with minimal smell and positive results.

Easy to apply
This hair dye was really easy to apply following the step by step instructions provided. It washes out very well and the colour is a very vibrant colour and covers the head well.Only down side is the colour didnt stay vibrant for long and could see it fading 1 week later

Really dark!!
This was quite easy to use although there seemed to be loads of dye! Came out really dark brown, nothing like the colour it was supposed to be, according to the box. Luckily I can live with the colour, but not what I was expecting

Excellent Value, Easy to Use and Great Results - I am Worth It!
L'Oreal is a very respected and well trusted brand of cosmetics, and I was surprised and delighted to be offered this hair dye to sample. I must confess that I use this brand of hair colourant regularly, although I had never tried this particular shade, tending toward the dark brown colours. With Casting Creme Gloss, everything you need is supplied inside the kit - Colourant, shampoo, gloves and conditioner. The instructions are clear and simple to follow - You simply add the colourant (in the toothpaste style tube) to the shampoo and shake vigorously to mix. The colourant is then ready to be applied to damp hair - Always wear the gloves, as it will mark your skin otherwise. I tend to apply the dye to the roots of my hair first and massage this in before spreading the dye down the length of my hair. The shampoo bottle is easy to use and has a little nozzle to help you apply the dye all over with ease. Once the bottle is used up, massage the shampoo all over your hair and then I pile mine on top of my head while I wait for the colouring to take. This takes between 10 - 20 minutes, depending upon whether this is a first time use or a top up of colour. Once the time is up, wash off the dye with warm water - I find that it foams up really well ans is much like a regular shampoo for rinsing - though obviously there will be a colour to the water. The dye washes off simply, and then you just have to apply the nourishing conditioner - I absolutely love this conditioner, as it has a really sumptuous feel, leaves my hair so soft and nourished and smells amazing! There is a definite scent of honey, which lingers long after washing, and Honestly I would buy this conditioner if they marketed it for general use. And that is all there is to it - Rich, deep colours that last up to 6 weeks depending on your washing routine - I tend to do my hair monthly, because I wash my hair daily. Excellent value, easy to use and great results.

Worst hair product ever
The Casting Creme Gloss in the shade 418 Choco Mocha is the worst hair product I've ever used. The colour transfers to clothing and towels *days* after application, and the colour is much darker than advertised. I have a natural level 5, and this brought my hair down to a level 2—despite being advertised as a level 4. It also made my hair very dry and frizzy, and it failed to add shine.Disclaimer: This isn't my first time dyeing my hair, and I followed all the instructions provided.

Natural looking hair dye
Really nice hair dye. I especially like the conditioner after use which makes my hair lovely and shiny. The dye doesn't have a strong bad smell and is easy to use. It covers my grey hairs and the colour is lovely and vibrant and natural looking. Overall a great quality home hair dye kit.I hope you find this review helpful.
