I've owned many pairs of jeans in my lifetime, but none have fit me as well as these bad boys. Not only are they slim fitting, but they have just the right amount of stretch to allow me to do a cartwheel (yes, I tried it). But let's get to the real meat of this review - the funny part. Picture this: it's a Saturday morning, you wake up feeling like a million bucks, and you want to strut your stuff in your new jeans. You walk into your local coffee shop feeling like the coolest cat in town. You order your usual, but when you go to pay, you realize you left your wallet at home. No big deal, you'll just use your phone to pay, right? Wrong. You left your phone at home too. At this point, you're sweating bullets. You're trying to remember if there's any change in your car that you can scrounge up, but you know it's a lost cause. Just when you think you're about to have to wash dishes to pay for your coffee, a stranger comes up to you and says, "Hey man, I got you." You look up to see that the stranger is wearing the exact same Levi's Men's 511 Slim Fit Stretch Jeans as you. You both laugh and bond over your love of these amazing jeans. Now, I know what you're thinking - "That's not even that funny." But trust me, in the moment, it was hilarious. These jeans have brought so much joy and laughter into my life, and I can't recommend them enough. If you want to feel like a million bucks and have a good chuckle, do yourself a favor and buy a pair (or two). Five out of five stars, baby! Levi's Men's 511 Slim Fit Stretch Jeans are a popular choice among men looking for a stylish and comfortable pair of jeans. Let's compare them with another popular brand, the Gap Men's Slim Fit Jeans. 1. Fit: Both Levi's Men's 511 Slim Fit Stretch Jeans and Gap Men's Slim Fit Jeans have a slim fit, which is tailored through the leg and thigh. However, Levi's 511 Slim Fit Jeans have a slightly tapered leg, while Gap's Slim Fit Jeans have a straight leg. 2. Fabric: Both jeans are made of cotton and elastane, which gives them a comfortable stretch. However, Levi's Men's 511 Slim Fit Stretch Jeans have a higher percentage of elastane, which means they have more stretch and are more comfortable to wear. 3. Design: Levi's Men's 511 Slim Fit Stretch Jeans have a classic five-pocket design, while Gap Men's Slim Fit Jeans have a four-pocket design with a button-flap coin pocket. Levi's 511 Slim Fit Jeans also have a small red tag on the back pocket, which is a signature Levi's design element. 4. Availability: Both jeans are widely available in stores and online, although Levi's Men's 511 Slim Fit Stretch Jeans are typically a bit more expensive than Gap Men's Slim Fit Jeans. 5. In summary, both Levi's Men's 511 Slim Fit Stretch Jeans and Gap Men's Slim Fit Jeans are popular choices for men looking for a slim fit, comfortable pair of jeans. Levi's 511 Slim Fit Jeans have a slightly tapered leg, more elastane for stretch, and a classic five-pocket design, while Gap Men's Slim Fit Jeans have a straight leg, a four-pocket design with a button-flap coin pocket, and a lower price point. Ultimately, the choice between the two will come down to personal preference in terms of fit, style, and budget. Review: Very pleasantly surprised on fit, construction, and style - I know buying Levi's on desertcart can be a gamble. I've personally received a couple of pairs of jeans where the fit was off, color was wrong, etc etc. But these were even better than expected on all counts. I got the Bee's Eye (grey) slim fit 511, stretch, size 30 x 30, in waterless (I also clicked "Regular," although I'm not even sure what that refers to). I'm 5'10" 155lbs, i.e., totally average. I'm a Medium in every single brand and always a 30x30. The fit is perfect. Slim with a form-fitted silhouette from waist to calf. Never tight, never loose, I always feel the jeans around my legs and they never constrict me. The leg hole openings are 14.5", which I have found the perfect balance: they work with sneakers, and also leather boots. ** One note on fit: The legs do seem to run a tiny bit long. There's minor "gathering" around the ankles, I wouldn't call it "bunching". Wearing them barefoot no part of the jeans touch the ground. But if you want a totally streamlined fit with no fabric gathering and you don't want to cuff your hems, get 1 leg size down. Materials and construction: I wanted the Stretch and was willing to sacrifice some cotton for it. desertcart said these would be 99% cotton, 1% elastane. I didn't believe them, and expected closer to 79% cotton 21% stretch like an older pair of stretch jeans I have. And I was fine with that. But these are, in fact, 99% cotton, AND the stretch is substantial. They're (again) a wonderful balance: 99% cotton so there's still plenty of fabric to break in and make your own, but the stretch makes all kinds of movement super comfy. And now color. The color was actually better for me than it looked in the desertcart picture. The grey was spot on, a medium grey with some heather-ish texture in it. But in person the jeans don't have those faint white creases up around the thighs and crotch. The jeans have no artificial distressing or extra design work on them. Which I love aesthetically, and also because again these are 99% cotton. These will earn their own wear-and-tear over the years. These are already some of my new favorite jeans. I'm obsessive about fit and comfort, and these are excellent on both. If anything changes after more wears and washes I'll update this review, but as of now Levi's on desertcart won me back over. Probably ordering another pair soon.

Perfect fit and incredible style from Levi's!
I normally wear exclusively Levi's 501s because of the button fly, but the cut/style can be a bit too traditional for some situations. Saw a friend with similar build wearing these, and he looked so good in them just couldn't help but ask which ones they were. I had had 511's before, but they always seemed cheap and didn't fit all that well. These 511's in Meyers Crescent are probably the best jeans I have ever purchased. They fit absolutely perfect- closely following (without squeezing) the dimensions of my leg until about mid calf, and then having a leg opening just wide enough to nicely fall over shorter boots. Visually, they appear to be constructed from a heavy rigid denim, but in reality are super stretchy and flexible. Pockets are very deep (which is great for modern big phones) and of course there is the signature Levi's tag, patch, and stitching on the pockets. These aren't going to last through any heavy wear or outdoors work like 501s would, but the quality seems very good for the price and intended use. No defects and the stitching isn't unraveling. Zipper fly is built very sturdy (the Levi's logo is actually cut into it) and locks when folded down to avoid any accidents. Guys rarely talk about clothes, and especially not jeans, but I would 100% recommend these to a friend.

The new cut is a bummer below the knees, but you can make them work!
I've always loved 511's, but these seemed a bit different than other's I've owned. The leg opening on these has moved up in size compared to old 511's. The cut has definitely changed and is a bit more "slim" rather than "skinny". It was too large for my liking. I've got larger than average thighs, and the thigh fit super solid. Crotch is roomy and overall a great fit. It seems that the cut of the waist has changed...they're definitely a higher rise than my older 511's, but overall it's a nice look that I didn't have issue with. Also, no button down fly - bummer. The leg opening bugged me, so I ended up tapering the legs a little bit with my sewing machine. Really easy once you know what you're doing. I took the leg opening in about an inch, and now they're much more what I was looking for. I essentially sewed a new seam on the inside of each leg. I started down at the opening, and then worked my way up, tapering closer and closer to the original seam. The final stitch was about 3 inches above where my knee hit. You can't notice the modification, and it looks way more slick! After this small modification, I absolutely love these jeans. They look alright cuffed, no nice looking selvedge line or anything, but there's well constructed blue chain-stitching on the seam on the outside of the leg. The Clean Dark wash has more of a "broken-in" feel than other washes like the Rigid Dragon, but I think I'll still be able to get some fantastic fades out of these jeans. These are still just a 4/5 for me though - mainly due to the larger cut, and the lack of a button down fly.

Finally I can look like a Millennial!!!
I love these jeans. I bought a pair of the same in "pants" version, black, that I could wear on tour with a post-black metal, ambient space rock band, as looking the part was important. (I wanted jeans but they didn't have my size @ the store) When I put them on the first time I immediately felt at least 50% cooler. Or maybe more specifically, it brought my coolness to the surface and I was wearing it. I'm a thin dude - 5' 10" 150ish - size 30X32 - and also a Gen X'er. Sure I wore skinny jeans back in the day - sometimes with holes in them, sometimes all ripped up. As a longtime professional guitar player I've been in a lot of playing situations, beginning with a focus on rock guitar, so naturally I'm no stranger to tight fitting, package exposing jeans and pants. Luckily I didn't dawn any spandex back then - my legs were too embarrassingly skinny for my tastes. I did have a pair of stretchy black jeans though - with a white snake going down the one side of the legs. They were painfully tight but went well with my equally painfully tight black snakeskin boots. Enter the Grunge era and I could finally let the boys swing freely with boxer shorts and baggy cutoff cargo pants (w/Doc Martens for shizzle). I never looked back. That is until the tour came up. And so it was time - time to look modern again. And man I wish I had done it sooner! They look so cool! Even though I wouldn't get them before the tour I ordered the jeans anyway so I could be even cooler when I got back. With my Doc Martens I look metal - with my black adidas I look like a wanna-be millennial hipster (sans beard) and I love it! Not as tight as the snake ones of course - they are tailored nicely with the evolution in design of skinny jeans over the years, perhaps given the advent of hipster culture. Snug but not too snug, they hug the butt and privates nicely. The sensation mixed with how cool I look gives me a sexy feeling the whole time I'm wearing them that says: "I am ready for action."

Wish they were NOT stretch?
These jeans fit great, size is right on, my favorite color(which is hard to find in my size), but...I want the 'shrink to fit' jeans from Levi back! Don't know why they chose to make STRETCH??? They fit good but do not grow to fit our bodies over time. The 511 is a great jean model. For me, i am thin, and today its 'thin to win'! Many people are buying tailored fit clothes! I mean tight everywhere. I know its uncomfortable though it looks good ON PEOPLE WHO HAVE DESIGNER BODIES! This Levi model is what 'shrink to fit' did after months of wearing and washing. It conformed to your shape and was not too tight. Please, someone ask WHY stretch is now the model?? They did make them non-stretch, but i cannot find them?

Gave up on women's jeans for these!
I'm a 5'6" 115lb woman and I have trouble fitting into a lot of women's jeans, which are cut for curves I don't have. I discovered these by trying on my brother's jeans, and then bought my own in the length I needed (28w 30L). Now my mom wears them, too! They're so comfortable and durable, they wear into soft comfortable fabric, and being able to get the exact size you want is amazing as a woman, because most women's jeans don't come in lengths. Be aware that the stretch and advanced stretch are different than the regular ones. Advanced stretch is much thicker fabric and you should size up. I use those for work.

GOT A NEW FAVORITE PAIR OF (SKINNY FIT) LEVI'S!!!
I am new to shopping for clothes on line, so here's my story. These were my 3rd pair trying from Amazon (first 2 didn't work out) and I am beyond happy with this pair! They fit perfect for SKINNY JEANS and the stretch material is awesome (VERY TIGHT) and the color is perfect, they don't look like they've been washed in muddy pond water! Just what I've been looking for! And of course, I ordered the last pair in my size or I would have ordered another couple of pairs for sure, this pair will have to do.....Oh well, needless to say, I highly recommend these to someone who is looking for a nice TIGHT pair of Levi's. BTW, A thick 1 1/2" belt works fine with these belt loops. ORDER THESE NOW BEFORE YOUR SIZE IS GONE TOO!!!

If your waste is 32 get 33 or even a 34
I love how these jeans look, and they FEEL LIKE REAL DENIM SHOULD. They feel tough like they’ll last, not like today’s weird spandex denim. They feel like Levi’s, they are a very fitted style so get a size or two up, cuz they are a snug fit, and yes the boys really feel it 😂

Nice fabric
Really nice jeans. Nice, soft fabric. Fits well. But the label on the backside is more beige/brownish and the buttons are metallic instead of black.

Excellent quality slim fit jeans
I bought the grey color jeans for my bf as an xmas gift and he LOVED them. He is normally a 34w/32l in Levi’s jeans and these fit him perfectly. True to size. They are extremely tough material, and excellent quality! They are a really nice jean that can be dressed up or down and the slim fit is so flattering. He loved the gift. Would purchase again.
