Will help keep you going
Wife waiting since Christmas for diagnosis and treatment. Oesophagus is constricted Any solid food is thrown back. These shakes and a few thin soups are providing just enough calories, nutrients and protein to keep her going. Taste OK she says.

Meal replacement for convalescence
After finding food difficult to eat due to my COPD and poor appetite, I found Aymes much more appetising than fortisip. I can replace 2 meals and feel I'm getting a more balanced diet with all my nutrients supplemented. I couldn't swallow vit tablets and this helps me hydrate too.

Nice taste
As post operation I have been on fortisips but couldn't stomach them so I was put on these. Yes they are more fuss as you have to buy milk and then make them in a shaker that's supplied. But for me personally it's worth the effort as I find them far more palatable.

Okay.
These are okay but it may just be me, I found they gave me the runs, I mentioned it to my dietition and she said it could be the fat content that caused it. When I did have them I added a good sized spoonful of ice cream to the shake but they are fine to drink minus the ice cream.
